Bird Flu Continues to Threaten in Vietnam
Bird flu has spread to two more provinces in northern Vietnam. According to the Department of Animal Health under the Vietnam' s Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, bird flu has spread to seven provinces in Vietnam's northern and central regions including Ha Tinh, Ninh Binh, Nam Dinh, Bac Giang, Quang Ngai, Tuyen Quang and Hoa Binh.

Yosemite park hantavirus alert to 230,000 campers
Yosemite park rangers have expanded a health advisory about a killer virus to nearly a quarter of a million people who have stayed there since June. The mouse-borne hantavirus is now known to have infected nine people - three of whom have died. There is no known cure.
