When western scrub jays encounter a dead bird, they call out to one another and stop foraging.
The jays then often fly down to the dead body and gather around it, scientists have discovered.
The behaviour may have evolved to warn other birds of nearby danger, report researchers in California, who have published the findings in the journal Animal Behaviour.

Well, I found that news item very interesting as I witnessed a similar thing back in 2003 while living in Jerusalem, Israel, I was walking along one of its streets, and came across a very sad scene. Two dead ravens were lying on the road, apparently recently struck down presumably by a car, with a dozen of ravens flying above and encircling the scene and crying out.
It didn't take me long to discover the meaning of my happening upon this scene.
If you know the story of Elijah the Tishbite and the ravens in I Kings 17:4-7, then you will understand his modern-day connections also with ravens. Elijah has related to me that they have done circles of dances around him. Ravens have appeared at people's mailbox when they have mail from Elijah, and now we see this experience I had.
You see, there is a deep connection of my experience with what is about to occur according to Revelation 11:7-8. As you see, the dead bodies of these two ravens represent the two dead bodies of Moses and Elijah which will lie on the street of Jerusalem after they have fulfilled their 42 months, Revelation 11:2. The only difference is that these two prophets will not be mourned.
But praise be to God, after 3 1/2 days they both will ascend into heaven.
