HI, JOHN & ALL DOVES.

I WOULD LIKE TO GET SOME RESPONSES REGARDING SOMETHING THAT HAS REALLY

BOTHERED ME! IN FACT, IT JUST PLAIN TOOK THE WIND OUTTA MY SAILS WHEN I

FIRST BEGAN TO QUESTION WHAT I THOUGHT GOD HAD TOLD ME ABOUT THIS!

WHEN I CAME BACK TO CHRIST AS AN ADULT ABOUT 9 YRS. AGO I WAS CONVINCED THAT

THERE WAS GOING TO BE AN ALL-OUT HOLY GHOST INSPIRED, ON-FIRE FOR GOD INVASION

OF HEAVEN UPON THE PRE-RAPTURE CHURCH IN MY LIFETIME...A GREAT, GREAT HARVEST

OF SOULS COMING! I WAS SOOOOOOOO ON FIRE FOR GOD, SO FULL OF FAITH AND

EXPECTATION! I BELIEVED THIS MOSTLY BECAUSE OF JOEL 2: HOW THE YOUNG PEOPLE

WOULD SEE VISIONS, THE OLD WOULD DREAM DREAMS, BEFORE THAT GREAT & TERRIBLE

DAY OF THE LORD, ETC.

LATER I BEGAN TO SEE ANOTHER SIDE TO THIS ISSUE. THERE ARE ALSO SCRIPTURES

THAT TALK OF DECEPTION, APOSTATE CHURCHES, AND THE GROSS DARKNESS THAT IS TO

BEFALL THE EARTH. WELL, THIS IS ALL I SEE HAPPENING NOW! I'VE SUSPECTED THAT

I HAVE BEEN WRONG ABOUT ANY GREAT REVIVAL THIS SIDE OF THE RAPTURE!!!

BUT THEN, AS I HAVE BEEN STUDYING THE BOOK OF REVELATION & ASSOCIATED BOOKS,

I DO SEE A GREAT HARVEST HERE! I AM NOW MORE INCLINED TO BELIEVE A HARVEST

OF ANY MAGNITUDE IS MUCH MORE LIKELY TO OCCUR AFTER THE RAPTURE, AND IT WILL

BE THE NEWLY CONVERTED JEWS THAT BRING IT TO FRUITION! YOU KNOW...THE TWO

WITNESSES ALONG WITH THE 144,000 AND OTHER TRIBULATION CONVERTS. THIS WILL

BE THE HARVEST OF ALL HARVESTS FOR GOD, BECAUSE THIS TIME THE FRUITS OF THE

HARVEST WILL BE GIVING UP THEIR VERY LIVES FOR THEIR CHOICE. WHEN YOU CONVERT

DURING THE TRIBULATION, THERE'S NO HALFWAY, HALF-BAKED CONVERSIONS! EVERYONE

WILL KNOW THEIR LIVES ARE AT STAKE. I BELIEVE THOUSANDS UPON THOUSANDS,

BUT THIS CHANGE OF BELIEF I UNDERWENT OVER THE PAST 9 YEARS HAS REALLY DEFLATED

PERHAPS MILLIONS WILL BE SAVED DURING THIS TIME!

SO, IS IT OVER FOR THE CHURCH? ARE OUR GLORY DAYS BEHIND US? IS IT ALL OVER

EXCEPT FOR THE RAPTURE? AND, OF COURSE, OUR OWN PERSONAL EFFORTS OF

EVANGELIZATION, UNTIL THEN?

WHAT DO THE DOVES THINK? I DON'T WANT TO BE DECEIVED EITHER WAY! THAT'S WHY

I WANT YOUR INPUT! THANKS, EVERYONE!

Many are crying forth of the great revival to come; it seems to be the theme of many pastors. Of course, it will come to their church!

I don't see it is the Bible.....in fact, I see the reverse.....More turning from God!

The church, for the most part, is asleep. The soothing sermons don't wake them at all. No warnings are going forth in the local churches.

At this late hour, the pastors should be screaming.....repent, get ready to meet God!

Though many of us live in the US and that country is dying spiritually
(if not already dead) The Gospel is going around the world. There are
many in very dark places coming to Christ. So your thought about a big
revival, is in fact happening...just not here. We had our chance. It,
personally, drives me crazy when people tell me to pray for our
country or leaders. The Holy Spirit told me specifically, that praying
for our leader and country would do no good at this point, that I
should just concentrate on praying for the church.

Many in other countries are suffering persecution and even death for
their faith, while we (in the US) lolly gag around trying to make
excuses for why it is okay to elect those who worship satan to the
highest office...and then wonder why we are lied to. Hello - Satan is
the father of lies - do we not get that? Apparently not.

More and more I am coming to the conclusion that if the Lord tarries
much longer faith really will disappear as those that believe will be
killed off (martyred), everyone else will be lukewarm at best. It is
getting harder and harder to find churches in the US that teach the
Word in it's entirety with out watering it down. When was the last
time you heard a good sermon on hell? Or the tribulation? Nope at
best you get a little sermonette about being nice to each other (not
judging) or just going along with what ever garbage you are being fed
by the pastor du jour.

Our seminaries spit out professional purveyors of trash. Most can't
even define the truth well enough to give the gospel to the lost, let
alone shepherd them.

All of that said, there is a great harvest coming soon (may be even
this month or next). Be excited! Don't let scoffers steal your joy.
When Paul was talking about the scoffers he was referring to those in
the church! There will be many saved that you won't expect, and many
that you might think are saved won't be. Focus on making sure of your
own election and calling, pray for others, share the Truth in its
simplicity (which doesn't mean beating others up with the Word). Some
will see it for what it is, most will not. You job is to sow the seed,
or water it, only God can bring the increase. Every now and then He
will let you see a sprout come up, but never think it was you who made
it spring forth.

Be well, keep running, the finish line is in sight!

I agree with your conjecture, that the Endtimes evangelization done by the Church is about over, and the next
great Evangelization will be done in the Tribulation, led by the chosen Jews. And also I agree that many small
hidden evangelizations are going on, as when you and I try to bring a few family and friends into God's kingdom.
We can't do "big things" any more. No more "big tent revivals".

I refer you to Jack Kelly of GraceThruFaith for his thoughts on this subject. I have been reading his nightly
posts for several years, and have gone to him several times for my own questions. As far as I can see, he
agrees entirely with your speculation about Endtimes revival.

Jack Kelly is a traditional Southern Baptist pastor, and now has a very large online ministry as more and more
people discover how well he explicates the gospel. He believes in salvation by faith alone, in the tradition of
Baptists. (some Baptist churches are no longer in that traditional model, having succumbed to various modern
"isms", including that of the Emergent Church.)

Jack would agree that the Church today is mostly apostate. It is almost impossible to find pure teaching
within the walls of a church building, or within a denomination. It is time to throw one's self on the mercy of the
All Knowing One, He who alone knows the Truth and is the Truth.

I expect that the teaching of the l44,000 in the Tribulation will be Holy Ghost inspired in the extreme! It will
be as if Isaiah returned X l44,000. Should be thrilling even for those who must endure the Tribulation.

But we are living in the time of Apostasy. Not so thrilling! May we be delivered from this.

Yes, this is what the Lord showed me also, about 1.5 months ago. When this came to me, I literally had to ask for Him to confirm this over and over and over again, before I would accept it, and He did through scripture.

Genesis 45: 6
John 9: 4
2 Tim. 4: 3

Gosh, many in the church do not understand that when the great tribulation begins His mercy seat will be removed from the Gentile church, because they refused to do the true doctrine. He will then resume with the Jews. Because of this refusal, God will send upon them a strong delusion that they should believe a lie.


In Daniel 8: 23, the angel told him that when the transgressors have come to the full, a king of fierce countenance will stand up.

If you believe, like I do, that BHO is that man of sin, the son of perdition, then, when BHO stood up on Oct. 29, 2008 signaled that the apostate church has come to the full, therefore the idea that those in the church who miss the Rapture can still be saved is a lie, for they were given the truth, but they were deceived into believing the lie, the lie being the church taking the truth and turning it into a lie (Matt. 24: 4-5).

THE TRUE DOCTRINE OF CHRIST: IT POSSIBLE TO CEASE FROM DOING THE SINS OF THE FLESH!!!
THE FALSE DOCTRINE COME OF MEN: IT'S NOT POSSIBLE TO CEASE FROM DOING THE SINS OF THE FLESH

Dear Map,

I hope this will help you somewhat. Just ponder over this scenario...The greatest time for the Church to reap the greatest harvest on the earth is when Christ Himself comes to be JOINED together in physical immortality with His Body or Bride on Rapture day! ( He is still only the "HEAD" at this point in heaven ). The Rapture event may be more than what many had thought ( and taught ) it to be...( The Bible says in 1Cor.8:2, "And if anyone thinks he knows anything, he knows nothing yet as he ought to know" )

The Rapture event itself could be the manifestation of the true sons of God ( Romans 8:19 - 23 ) and the glory of the Lord arising upon His people ( Isaiah 60:1-3 ) all rolled up in one event in the twinkling of an eye where those who are alive and remain will be changed from mortality to immortality in an instant!! ( 1Cor.15:52 & 53 ).

Have you ever wondered why when the Lord was resurrected and remained on the earth for 40 days, He did not do any mighty works and appearing to sinners and the rest of the unsaved world but only appearing a few short times to his disciples and believers when he could have performed even more miracles and supernatural acts to the masses in His glorified form? It could be that He had a very good reason, otherwise why waste 40 days doing nothing when so many more could be reached and saved by His supernatural appearing to them.

The answer could be because He knew that at that stage, He was still only the "HEAD" ( firstfruit of the firstfruits ) and He had to wait for His Body or Bride to be joined to Him in immortality first! The Rapture event also signifies that joining together of the "head" and "body" which will then become that "PERFECT MAN" that the Bible talks about in Ephesians 4:13! ( till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God , to a "perfect man", to the measure of THE STATURE OF THE FULLNESS OF CHRIST )

When that happens, it could be that the 40 days that was left undone during His resurrection would now be fully fulfilled upon the entire earth and many many more will be saved and snatched into His kingdom before the great tribulation begins!! However, these works could be entrusted to only the "few" eventhough many are called, so the rest of them who had also been changed may have to wait in the clouds for that 40 days. Also, according to the parable of the great supper, God's servants will only be targeting to reach and appear to those in the "highways', lanes and by-ways which should mean the poor, homeless, hungry and sick peoples of the world at that time for them to just simply fill up the banquet hall! The rest who had previous invitations but made all kinds of excuses not to attend were left out in this move. ( even though they had a change of heart eventually )

So, all that you've been anticipating will come true but may not be in the way as many of us had been taught or had thought. Imagine a 144,000 chosen ones who have been immortalized ( sealed by God ) evangelizing the world's poorest and neglected parts for 40 days, being able to appear to people in any part of the world in an instant and performing greater works then what the Lord did while He was on the earth in flesh, as directed by God! Millions upon millions will be snatched from hell and added to His Kingdom in just a short 40 days before the Anti-Christ can even react! The acts in the book of acts will be dwarfed by this indeed and the Church Age will end in absolute Victory for the Church!! That's why He says he wants to come back for a Bride who is READY!!
