Still in 2012, Joel Osteen is experiencing abundant fame, honor and wealth from the WORLD. Joel Osteen preaches a very WORDLY "gospel and is loved by the world; but, Joel Osteen says he believes he has been blessed by the God of Heaven, Scripture knows otherwise:
"Because they [Joel and his disciples] received not the love of the truth that they might be saved; For this cause God sent them strong delusion that they should believe a lie,
That they all might be ****ed who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness." (2 Thess. 2:10-12)

Joel Osteen frequently claims he does not take a salary from the church; be careful here for Joel is no pauper, in fact, Joel Osteen is reportedly worth over $40 million personally. While he may not take a salary from "LAKEWOOD Church", he receives $MILLIONS from his work at Joel Osteen Ministries' "Night of Hope" shows and his steady regurgitation of the same seeker friendly, 7 step drivel, recycled for each new book. Joel Osteen's book "Your Best Life Now" received a $13 MILLION advance from the publisher. Yet he calims he "....couldn't have known how well" his book would do. PUBLISHER'S do NOT give out $13 MILLION BEFORE a book is WRITTEN UNLESS THEY KNOW THEY WILL RECOUP THERE MONEY plus a large profit!

Joel Osteen's artificially sweetened 'gospel" is his own heretical combination of the preaching of Billy Graham and the prosperity 'gospel", which focuses on not offending ANYONE and telling them "God has a great plan for your life"..."God has a great plan for everyone's life"...too bad Joel Osteen wasn't around in Hitler's day, he sure could have used the encouragement when allied forces were closing in (sic). Joel Osteen and co-pastor Victoria Osteen are out for MONEY and to fund their lavish lifestyle. They think God has blessed them with great financial gain and therefor they think they have His 'favor".....ironically, in scripture it was Satan that offered the great riches as a temptation...how great Joel and Victoria Osteen's surprise will be when they learn they have been serving Satan...and their followers, as well. Get away from the Osteen's before you perish with them...you can NOT be saved by a counterfeit "gospel". Let's hope many people begin to see the truth about Joel Osteen in 2012!

I think I have to defend Joel Osteen. However, it DOESN'T MEAN that I agreed with his lifestyle or theology doctrines.

First, I believe God YHWH can use everyone in his or her own strength to preach some specific subjects in the Bible to strengthen many people in their weaknesses. Joel Osteen may not be a prophet that can raise death persons, or like saints that live in pure holy lifestyle BUT God can use him to strengthen many people. Whoever is given a lot will have to bear more responsibilities. He has been given a lot of wealth and as an individual he has to be accountable in front of God of how he used his vast wealth for.

Second, I myself was down and almost killed myself as I was attacked by suicidal thought several months ago. I felt my life was a mess and I was really ashamed of myself at that time till the thought of taking my own life. Suddenly, God YHWH through my wife told me to open the youtube and type Joel Osteen. I did that and listened to his several sermons related with hope, motivation and lost. After I heard his message, my hope was restored, my motivation to fight for my life was also restored and I began to fight for my case even harder than before and I surrendered to God YHWH even more. In just days, my situation was changed, my life was never be the same again and I crawled out from my misery bravely and ready to fight with God YHWH's power in me like never before. Now, I am in much better situation, still up and down, but I knew where I should resort to that is to God YHWH in Yahshua alone we are refreshed always.

So, in short, everyone has his or her talent, his or her field works, some has 10 field works but some other only two or three field works or even just one field work. Everyone is responsible of how he or she uses his or her talent to expand the Kingdom of God. I may not be the smartest, I may not be the greatest, I may not be the wisest, I may not be the richest, I may not be the wealthiest, I may not be the holiest, but I know in my heart that I am somebody important in the eyes of my LORD, YHWH Adonai. For I was redeemed by the blood and ready to expand His Kingdom with my talents and gifts.

Therefore I defended Joel Osteen and also other preachers who have worked for the Kingdom and have Yahshua as their only Savior.

Thank you Steven for your prayer, it works!!!

That experience changed me a lot! I had been very negative toward Joel Osteen and some other preachers to the point of dislike them. But the experience gave different learning points for me. I learned that God used people to expand His Kingdome according to that person's talent.
God has used you Steven, to pray for me, to open my mind again to the possible pretribulation rapture link because of the Jewish's traditional marriage.
God has used you to make me realize of possible danger of planet X or something from other planet trigering the tribulation.
God has used you in this forum for many good things. I always check this forum several times a day, looking for good articles and posts. This forum is worth more than other forums because you keep every possible opinions in this forum and I like that stance because we can learn from others and make decision accordingly which triggered me to move from prewrath to pretrib because the compelling arguments of Jewish traditional marriage by Perry Stone, that was one excellent example of it.
I used to think of all conspiracy theories just fake but not anymore, the answer is it depends on who made it.
Anyhow, thanks for praying for me. Several miracle things happened in my life these last few months such that I am now ready to fight on. Don't know what will happen in the future but one thing I will keep fight for better life and pray and hope and have faith in Yahshua only.
