Maybe that’s why 2012 has been so conveniently “charged” with End Times mystique, whether it’s the Mayan Calendar, Apocalyptic Revelation, the Global Financial Crisis or unleashing World War III.

In a recent article for New Dawn (Special Issue 16), I described “twelve triggers” the Global Power Elite are using to wrap up “globalisation” (its “mission” having now been “accomplished”) and impose World Government over the whole planet.

Perhaps they’re not twelve triggers; there may be more, there may be less. And perhaps too they’re not all correct, but I sincerely believe the violence, chaos, upheavals, death and suffering we’re seeing in different parts of the world are not the result of mere chance, unfortunate mistakes or bad decision-making by those who run the world’s public and private power structures.

No. I believe this is all being purposely sought, channelled and used to drive a nascent World Government Project. And, no: this is not “conspiracy theory,” but rather understanding the tell-tale signs and behaviour patterns of powerful people who have common interests and goals, and work together to achieve them.

To better grasp this, we should know that the nature of the different Global Elite players’ intents depends on what hierarchical level they stand on the power pyramid.

If you look at the busy throngs in its lower, more operative levels where money and greed reign supreme, you will notice they do not seem to have “programmed destruction” as a top priority. However, as you rise along that power pyramid, you’ll see priorities begin to change. Money and greed cede their top place to power and control.

And when you reach the upper pyramidal echelons, you observe top power brokers prioritising long-term objectives, for which they seem more than willing to sacrifice short-term order, even if it means plunging the whole planet into mayhem.

When left free to function according to its own dynamics, the upper levels of power generate highly complex, unstable whirlwind-like convulsions that look a lot like today’s world. And although many may find it hard to believe, those growing levels of social and systemic destruction are being purposely sought.

One can then begin to understand why some people at the very top are eagerly watching the growing chaos.

Take someone like US billionaire George Soros, member of the Council on Foreign Relations, the Trilateral Commission and Bilderbergers, amongst other elite clubs. Although he is not at the very top of the power pyramid, Soros does sit close to the upper echelons of worldly power.

In an interview with Newsweek magazine on 23 January 2012, when asked about the prospects of the Occupy Wall Street Movement turning violent, Newsweek quotes Soros, “‘Yes, yes, yes’, he says, almost gleefully,” claiming the riots will “be an excuse for cracking down and using strong-arm tactics to maintain law and order, which, carried to an extreme, could bring about a repressive political system, a society where individual liberty is much more constrained, which would be a break with the tradition of the United States…”

He added that, “I am not here to cheer you up. The situation is about as serious and difficult as I’ve experienced in my career. We are facing an extremely difficult time, comparable in many ways to the 1930s, the Great Depression.

We are facing now a general retrenchment in the developed world, which threatens to put us in a decade of more stagnation, or worse; the worst-case scenario is a collapse of the financial system.”

Then there’s Christine Lagarde. As chief of the International Monetary Fund she had a similar story to tell from her position in the global power structure, when she likened current economic conditions to the Great Depression and had the IMF releasing figures predicting a downturn in global growth.

She stated the world faces “a 1930s moment, in which inaction, insularity and rigid ideology combine to cause a collapse in global demand,” adding that, “this is a defining moment. It is not about saving any one country or region. It is about saving the world from a downward economic spiral.” She concluded by saying “The world must find the political will to do what it knows must be done” (emphasis added).

And what may that be? Increased centralised global control; and quite possibly a global currency managed by a global central bank.

Reporting on the World Economic Forum, London’s Guardian newspaper observed that, “The forecasts from the International Monetary Fund captured the air of gloom perfectly as members of the World Economic Forum gathered before the start of their annual meeting in Davos.

This is the fifth meeting of the global policy elite since the start of the financial crisis in 2007 and each has had its own mood: concern in early 2008, total panic in the dark winter of 2009, tentative optimism in 2010 that the worst was over, confidence in 2011 that better times were just around the corner, and now the sense that recovery will be longer and tougher than most of the Davos crowd ever envisaged.”

I believe the highly complex, dynamic and often subtle Global Power Elite machinery has its cogs and gears and nuts and bolts. Some play their parts as “bankers,” others play their part as “politicians,” others play as “media moguls,” still others as “committees to save the world”; and some even play the part of “hit men”!

George Soros, so critical of today’s financial chaos, goes lightly however on the accountability of his own parasitic banking brethren, when he explains that, “unrestrained competition can drive people into actions that they would otherwise regret.

The tragedy of our current situation is the unintended consequence of imperfect understanding. A lot of the evil in the world is actually not intentional. A lot of people in the financial system did a lot of damage without intending to.”

Lloyd Blankfein, CEO of Goldman Sachs, who at the height of the financial crisis told The Sunday Times of London that bankers “do God’s work,” would no doubt agree…

Soros concludes that the key to avoiding cataclysm in 2012 is “not to let the crises of 2011 go to waste.”

Are all these Global Elite Power Brokers actually planning and macro-managing many of today’s crises, generating short-term havoc and disorder to achieve their longer-term New World Order?

Who knows what these top-level planners and decision-makers are really discussing, planning and deciding behind closed doors, whether in Davos, Switzerland at the World Economic Forum, or in New York at the Council on Foreign Relations and Trilateral Commission, or during those plush Bilderberg and Bohemian Grove gatherings, or in the secretive Freemasonic Lodges of Old England.

Their decisions then trickle down to the implementation level though the high media profile puppets who babble and babble in the White House, US Congress, 10 Downing Street, Australia’s Parliament, the United Nations and other public Halls of Emptiness and Shame.

So, dear reader, ***** your ears – what counts is not all that shouting you hear on CNN, Fox News, BBC and all other mainstream media. What counts is the whispering coming from behind those tightly shut doors… It looks like 2012 will be a year of grand mischief-making. © New Dawn Magazine and the respective author.
