Nerobama's command performance in Cannes on the sidelines of the farcical G-20 summit brought the world one step closer to thermonuclear World War III on Friday. After publicly threatening Greek Prime Minister Papandreou that he had better take the deal worked out by Sarkozy and Merkel, Obama went off on a tear against Iran, citing next week's IAEA report on Iran's nuclear program as an opportunity to escalate. As Lyndon LaRouche emphasized on Friday, an attack on Iran will unavoidably involve the use of thermonuclear weapons, especially if London's marcher-lord state Israel is to launch the war. Israel's only capability for hitting Iran is to launch nuclear warheads. Last week, Israel tested a new Jericho-3 missile, capable of reaching Iran with precisely such a nuclear payload.

This war mania is all being driven by the fact that the British Empire and the entire global imperial monetary system is finished, and London will blow up the entire planet, sooner than surrender their imperial political power. The G-20 communique, issued late Friday afternoon, was a sick joke. After admitting that there is a catastrophic crisis, the document proposed to: Cede more power to the IMF, by expanding the IMF's Special Drawing Rights fund—by 2014; and putting increased reserve requirements on the "globally significant financial institutions"—by 2016! On the sidelines of the session, Merkel, Sarkozy, and Obama ganged up on Berlusconi, demanding that Italy be put under strict IMF dictatorship. Berlusconi, the artful dodger, offered to take IMF recommendations and allow observers, but Italy's 2-trillion-euro sovereign debt hole, along with that of Spain, is the trigger for a total trans-Atlantic blowout at any moment. So, the British Empire is going for war — with Iran and Syria as the detonators for a global conflict.

And before the night was out, Papandreou survived a no-confidence vote, but under condition that he leave the prime ministership and give way to an interim coalition government — apparently under his finance minister (the former defense minister). Nothing can hold together, because the whole system is coming down fast.

The problem, as LaRouche elaborated in discussions later in the afternoon on Friday, is that general war is impossible, because it would mean the extinction of the human race. There is no possibility of general war without it escalating to the use of thermonuclear weapons. We had a shot at ending the tyranny of nuclear holocaust with the SDI, but that opportunity was wrecked by British agents like Andropov and Gorbachov. But this specter of general war is what London is playing with, right at this moment.

This means that war avoidance is the only option for humanity's survival. And war avoidance means that Obama has to be removed from office — through impeachment, forced resignation, or invoking of the 25th Amendment. There is no other option. In Israel, it also means that Netanyahu has to be ousted from power, as well — before he launches strikes against Iran and sets the whole planet aflame.

American patriots need to borrow a page from their Israeli counterparts, who have launched an all-out assault on Netanyahu, Barak, and their drive to start a war by preemption against Iran. Clearly Netanyahu is feeling the heat, as he ordered the head of Shin Bet to launch an investigation into the leaking of sensitive cabinet discussions about an attack on Iran. Meir Dagan, former Mossad chief, shot back, daring Netanyahu to indict him for leaking secrets. Now, Kadima Party head and former Mossad officer Tzipi Livni is being dragged into the "plot" against Bibi. She attacked Netanyahu in a Knesset speech mid-week, and she is now being accused of conspiring with Dagan, Diskin, and others.

Obama is insane; he should be immediately removed from office via the invoking of Section 4 of the 25th Amendment. We are preparing an updated bill of impeachment against Obama, and it will be prominently available on both the LPAC and EIR websites, for widespread disemination. This week, we picked up on some dramatic shifts among the handful of serious members of Congress, who sense the war danger, and are finally willing to face the fact that Obama is a monster, who has killed American citizens without due process, launched an illegal war with no Congressional authorization, and assassinated a foreign head of state (and bragged about it). We must create a groundswell for Obama's ouster. As Lyndon LaRouche has repeatedly emphasized in recent days, there is no hope for Glass-Steagall, NAWAPA, or the survival of this nation without Obama's removal from office. Back in the early 1970s, a group of leading Republicans faced up to the fact that Richard Nixon was a menace to the GOP and to the nation. They took responsibility for forcing Nixon out of office. Today, Obama is the nightmare for the Democratic Party. The GOP today is not the party of Howard Baker, but has devolved into a real pack of fascists. There are obviously exceptions to this, but only when the Democratic Party faces up to the need to get Obama out of office immediately will those honest Republicans be able to act effectively. The Democrats, back in 2007-2008, were so obsessed with stopping Hillary Clinton, that they failed to see that Obama was a psycho Narcissist who had been recruited by the British through Tavistock methods to destroy the Democratic Party and the United States.
