Everyone knows we are living in a demonic age. Without realizing it, we unknowingly open "portals, or avenues" whereby demons can and DO attack us!
Depression and suicidal thoughts abound! Violence and hatred are everywhere! A Zombie mentality is on the rise in our young people and adults reflecting a seemingly "soul-less", without conscious, behavioral pattern!
The less extreme demon behavior is a careless lack of concern for anything! And of course much more could expose one who is in unity with these dark spirits!
So How do we unknowlingly open these doors:
Galatians Ch 5......gives us answers...
v.19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest....adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, ...Idoltatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, sedititions, heresiers, ...Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings........
And many other seductions!!
BUT!!!!!...........
Vs 24..And they that are Christ's HAVE crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts....
Obviously gaining victory is centered in our living in Christ and this is a life long process under the leadership of the Holy Spirit... only a few will make this commitment....

Time is short before Jesus returns... the devil is out to devour the halfhearted Christian.... and cause them to "shrink back" and be ashamed when Christ appears!
So we MUST KEEP our eyes on "The Prize" and "LOOKING" for our BLESSED HOPE, Jesus, and live holy lives!

I pray that we will all make a Good appearing before our Lord to give Him the greatest Praise....and not be ashamed before Him at His coming! Maranatha!

The Bible provides a guide to successfully countering any of Satan's deceptions. Below are several principles you should follow.

For one, avoid participating in anything to do with the evil side of the spirit world (see Ephesians:5:11And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.). Instead of harboring dark thoughts that can lead to being influenced by dark forces, the Bible clearly tells us to focus on the positive: "Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things" (Philippians 4:8).

Respect the power of the dark world and don't play around with it. Avoid any type of séances, gothic rituals or such devices as Ouija boards, all of which can open portals to the evil world. At the same time, don't be afraid of the dark forces. Remember, God is still in charge and is far more powerful than any of these evil agents. The Bible tells us, "He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world" (1 John:4:4Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.).

Make sure to draw close to God. By doing so, you'll move farther away from the world's evil sources. Through prayer, Bible study, meditation and occasional fasting, you will be greatly strengthened and will successfully resist Satan's temptations. "Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you" (James:4:7-8 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.).

If you ever feel there is a strange and evil presence around you, the Bible gives advice based on the confrontation between the archangel Michael and Satan. "Yet Michael the archangel, in contending with the devil, when he disputed about the body of Moses, dared not bring against him a reviling accusation, but said, 'The Lord rebuke you!'" (Jude 9).

So, if you do rebuke a spirit, don't do it in your name, but always in God's name, providing you have a relationship with God through Jesus Christ. That is the only authority evil spirits respect. Realize also that the spirit world is nothing to be trifled with (Acts:19:13-17[13]Then certain of the vagabond Jews, exorcists, took upon them to call over them which had evil spirits the name of the LORD Jesus, saying, We adjure you by Jesus whom Paul preacheth.[14]And there were seven sons of one Sceva, a Jew, and chief of the priests, which did so.[15]And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye?[16]And the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, and overcame them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded.[17]And this was known to all the Jews and Greeks also dwelling at Ephesus; and fear fell on them all, and the name of the Lord Jesus was magnified.). If you feel troubled by a spirit, you should seek counsel and advice from one of God's true ministers.

Another great source of spiritual strength is simply reading and studying the Bible. Jesus Christ quoted Scripture numerous times to successfully counter the wiles of the devil (Matthew:4:3-10 And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread. But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple, And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone. Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God. Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.[10]Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.). Many scriptural passages—especially in the book of Psalms —provide comfort and courage when one is facing dark spiritual forces. Take particular note of Psalms 23, 27, 34, 37 and 91.
