Hi everybody,

I read the e-mail sent by Firecharger about tomorrow (Tuesday) being a serious watch date and it has me thinking. I certainly agree with everything he said.

God is going to plan the rapture to happen with perfect timing. Since Tuesday is the preferred day in Jewish tradition for the groom to come for his bride, the rapture will happen on a Tuesday. If it doesn't happen on a Tuesday, then there is going to have to be an incredibly good reason why it didn't. God never settles for second best in anything. I cannot see Him compromising on any detail, no matter how insignificant, in the wedding of His Son. God, Himself, is planning this wedding and I am sure He will be a stickler for tradition.

Something else that is very significant. Israel is the apple of God's eye. An insult made toward Israel will, most certainly, be perceived as a personal insult by God. Likewise, anyone who cheats Israel is also cheating God. The Bible says God will not be mocked. We see something very significant happening in Israel that is set to take place tomorrow. It is extremely significant, in my humble estimation. Tomorrow is, coincidentally, a Tuesday.

Tomorrow Giliad Shalit's freedom is being purchased with the release of the first 477 of 1,027 Palestinian terrorists who are drenched in Israeli blood. Israel is demonstrating it's worthiness to be the chosen people of God by doing the morally correct thing, and in so doing, they are paying a horrible price. It is one thing to profess to hold the moral high ground and quite something else to prove that they mean what they say. Israel's action will find much favor with God. Perhaps Gilad Shalit will be the symbolic last Israeli to make aliyah (the return of the Jews to Israel from being scattered to the 4 winds, as described in the Bible) before God closes the Age of Grace and turns His attention from the Gentiles back to Israel, and the Age of the Law will resume (along with Daniel's 70th week). The timing of all of this, as well as the significance of Shalit's release, is just too much to be coincidence.

Does anybody know what time tomorrow Giliad is due to be released? If so, please e-mail me.

I cannot get over how symbolic this all is. The last Israeli to come home. The cost of freedom and the sacrifices that the nation of Israel is prepared to make. The value of one Jewish life. I keep thinking about the parable Jesus told about the shepherd who left his flock and searched until he found the one sheep that was missing and how important even one of His sheep was out of his whole flock. How the Palestinians have taken advantage of the situation and used the moral values of Israel against them. How the Palestinians think they have won a huge victory. I cannot believe that God will allow this injustice to succeed.

I really expect something to happen tomorrow as a result of all of this. I have also been wrong before as well. Tomorrow would be an excellent day for the rapture to take place.
