Hello, John and Doves,

Everything you ever wanted to know about "Isa" can be found in Isaiah, whose name means, "Salvation is of YHWH." Thus, it can be said that "Isa" [Arabic for the Greek, "Iesous"] means "Salvation" in this context.

Isaiah is a microcosm of the whole Bible. Each chapter maps onto a book. There are sixty-six chapters in Isaiah, and there are sixty-six books in the Bible.

Isaiah is the 23rd book of the Bible. Let's look at the last verse in Isaiah 23.

“But in the end her [Tyre’s] profits will be given to the LORD. Her wealth will not be hoarded but will provide good food and fine clothing for the LORD’s priests.”

Isaiah 23:18

This verse relates to the principle recorded by Solomon:

“Good people leave an inheritance to their Grandchildren,

but the sinner’s wealth passes to the godly.”

Proverbs 13:22

In turn, this gives us a clue to how Isaiah 23:18 relates to the whole book of Isaiah.

Since verse 18 of chapter 23 is the conclusion of that chapter, if we find a match for verse 18, then we find a match for the entire twenty-third chapter—namely, the book of Isaiah itself.

The book of Isaiah is replete with prophecy. In one verse, Isaiah 23:18, we see the judgment against Tyre juxtaposed with the blessings promised for Eretz [True] Israel in the Millennium, when Yeshua HaMashiach rules. This analysis takes us to the ultimate condensed statement on the indispensable usefulness of the Word of God.

“All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right.

“God uses it to prepare and to equip his people to do every good work.”

2 Timothy 3:16-17

Finally, we can see that the surpassing reliability of God’s Word is an anchor for the entire Bible.

"The rain and snow come down from the heavens and stay on the ground to water the earth. They cause the grain to grow, producing seed for the farmer and bread for the hungry.

"It is the same with my word. I send it out, and it always produces fruit. It will accomplish all I want it to, and it will prosper everywhere I send it." Isaiah 55:10-11

Thus, we may conclude with a moral certainty that Isaiah is, in fact, a microcosm of the Bible.

And so, everything we need to know about Isa [Salvation] can be found in Isaiah.

In fact, "Yeshua" means "YHWH is Salvation."
