Steven, I am Linda T. and I thought about posting this here but I hesitated because it seems to point to a literal pre-trib,pre-70th week rapture and I know that there may be some here that don't believe that, so I thought it best not to post here, but since you did, I thought you should know that I am still reeling from this experience and feel so very unworthy of it.

If there's a verse that says a day is as a year, then it should be cited. I know there are "interpretations" of scripture that are "backed into" making the case for a day also being a year, but then scripture isn't being interpreted. Instead interpretations on top of another interpretation of scripture is being applied.

Sure no problem..and sorry for not including the scripture reference..

It is my understanding that these terms are almost exclusively used when talking about prophetical years.

And I believe it would have to be for the Lord to decide if and when someone should view a day as a thousand years, or a day as a year, or even a week as seven years, another words I don't believe it is something that should be randomly stamped on a time frame, and with that said I can assure you, it was not my idea to call 2550 days 2550 years, cause like I said I really didn't know where the Lord was taking this I just knew what he said to do.



(2Peter 3:8,10). But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day..." .


Psalm 90:1,3,4 For a thousand years in your sight are like a day that has just gone by, or like a watch in the night.

And it also appears that at times a day also as a year.

A day for each year" in the account of the ten spies returning with a bad report to Moses about the Promised Land after spying it out for 40 days:

Numbers 14:33,34
And your children shall wander in the wilderness forty years, and bear your *****doms, until your carcasses be wasted in the wilderness. After the number of the days in which you searched the land, even forty days, each day for a year, shall ye bear your iniquities, even forty years.
