Subject: Remember Simeon and Anna in Luke 2? They would have KNOWN they would see Jesus soon...in that last week!!! Why?



Why?

Jesus had JUST been BORN in Bethlehem 7 days before.

Bethlehem is only a few miles from Jerusalem.

The news would have been spreading about Jesus' birth....don't you think?? All that commotion with the angels singing and all the shepherds spreading the news of what they had seen....right?

So, here you have Simeon and Anna.......Anna is said to be 84 years old.....and the Holy Spirit had told him "he would not see death before he had seen the Lord's Christ." So, he, too, would have been quite elderly.

So......while they had been WAITING, probably for YEARS..........after all that had gone on in the previous week over the hill in Bethlehem.....they MUST HAVE BEEN GETTING PRETTY EXCITED.....don't you think??

Why were they waiting at the Temple? Because, on the 8th day of life, a Jewish boy would have been brought to the Temple to be circumcised.
That would have been SEVEN days after his birth..........don't Jews count day zero, the birth day as DAY 1?? (I'm speculating here.) So, SEVEN days later......here come the parents with Jesus in their arms.....for Simeon and Anna to see and bless.....

I SAY ALL OF THAT TO SAY THIS:

This Friday.....SEVEN DAYS BEFORE Rosh Hashanah (at least the second, and last, day of Rosh Hashanah) the United Nations is hosting the GREAT DEBATE..... there will be Netanyahu (spelling?) for Israel and what's=his-name for the Palestinians.....Abbas.

AND THE WHOLE WORLD IS WATCHING AND WITNESSING THE DEBATE ABOUT DIVIDING ISRAEL....ONCE AND FOR ALL.....

SEVEN DAYS LATER......OH COULD IT BE........THE RAPTURE???

Could Bible prophecy, coinciding PERFECTLY with this debate.....be as simple as this:

1) ISRAEL RE-BORN IN 1948
2) From Mathew 24......"the generation that sees these things......will not pass away.......until all these things take place (Christ's return)
So......the length of a generation.......for all the reasons in my previous posts over the last 2 weeks.......70 years is the length of a generation. That takes us to the year 2018. (Simeon and Anna waited that LAST 7 days...knowing SOMETHING WAS UP!!!!!!! 7, or 70......same number.....)

(And......THIS GENERATION..the generation since May, 1948.....is now quite old, if they were born on, or near, May, 1948. THIS Generation is in their 60's...70's.....even 80's...just like Anna and Simeon.)

3) LESS 7 years for the Tribulation...and you get Rosh Hashanah, 2011. NEXT WEEK!!

Hey....EVER SINCE ISRAEL WAS REBORN IN 1948.........Christians AND Jews KNEW SOMETHING WAS UP, too!!!!
70 years later...actually 63 years later, 2011.....HERE WE ARE....and the debate at the UN CONFIRMS IT!!

70 years, 2018.....take away 7 for the Tribulation....."the Time of Jacob's Trouble".........and you get, once again....2011....Rosh Hashanah.

Oh could it be THIS simple? Could we FINALLY be AT THE DOOR!!!???????

I hope so......IT MAKES SOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH SENSE TO ME!! It is PERFECTLY alligned with a God-given time table.
