God uses Gregorian Calendar because it commemorates Christ Birth Year?

If september is 7th Month and this year is 2011AD from Christ's Birth or concieved Year...could this be the reason the whole world follows Gregorian Calendar?

Meaning that God ALLOWED and USED this CALENDAR to Determine the TIMES of GENTILES?

Then ISRAEL would use the NEW CALENDAR given by 2 WITNESSES after out RAPTURE?
