The post below is long, but simply a MUST read, to all serious Bible Prophecy students. This author ties in Comet Elenin, the astronomical sign of Revelation 12:1, and Feast of Trumpets, Sept. 29, 2011. This correlation is fascinating and amazing!!! He is coming at this from a Jewish perspective, and does not necessarily tie this in with a Rapture, but, in my opinion, it has Rapture implications for Sept. 29, 2011 (or soon after), written all over it. Please do not get bogged down, or discouraged, in the 1st 10 paragraphs, as this post gets much better after that. As a side note, the number 29 (Sept. 29) is the number of DELIVERANCE. Prophecy Watch: 3rd August 2011 : Comet Elenin – The Heavenly Herald of Revelation 12 - A Specific Messianic Message Of The Coming Redemption Of Zion
Joy and peace in Yahushua our Wonderful Redeemer.
Genesis 1: 14 And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:
I am sure that comet Elenin will be getting some of your attention in the coming days! This bulletin is a long one but very important to watching the signs of Yahushua Messiah’s imminent return to re-gather the remnant faithful of the House of Jacob. Please take the time to read, prayerfully consider, and do your own due diligent research on this subject of the coming witness in the stars.
There is increasing voluminous discussion on the internet (but interestingly not in the mainstream media) focusing on the apocalyptic impact that the coming comet Elenin is apparently going to have on the earth in the coming months. Comment is being generated by many of all different persuasions and religions - Pagans (with the Mayan 2012 prophecies), New Agers (with Planet X / Niburu and the age of Aquarius), and even some evangelical Christian and Messianic websites are now on the bandwagon proclaiming warnings that as comet Elenin approaches earth it will be increasingly causing massive apocalyptic disasters on the earth, including massive earthquakes, three days of darkness and a catastrophic swap of the earth’s magnetic poles. Some even say that Elenin is a massive brown dwarf star bringing the final apocalypse to mankind in 2012.
Thus a lot of fear is being generated at this time, given also that Hollywood’s production of the movie “deep impact” in 2010 has placed vivid apocalyptic and fearful images in the minds of people globally. In my understanding, the increasing sense of fear in the minds of populations today is well explained in the narrative of Genesis 43-47, where the ultimate goal is to cause people everywhere to give themselves voluntarily into personal slavery under Pharaoh (totalitarian global governance) with the perception that only Pharaoh can save them in the time of global affliction.
In the full biblical narrative, there is clear reference time and time again to the Messianic protection and restoration of YHVH’s remnant people (Jacob) in the day of affliction. We now have the imminent expectation that Elenin will be a biblical herald sent from YHVH to announce the most significant prophetic event that all the biblical prophets and the Apostles have looked forward to – a heavenly sign confirming the very season and time of the Messianic redemption and restoration of the the two Houses of Israel (the natural and wild branches of the olive tree of Romans 11) and the birth of Zion (the messianic era).
In these last days, Abba calls His people to not fear (Isaiah 41:14) about what is going to happen in the earth. How can we do this if we do not have His divine understanding about such events? In Proverbs 4, Abba instructs us to “get understanding” and to “get wisdom” on biblically significant matters – and as we shall discover, comet Elenin is indeed a very significant matter:
Proverbs: 4 He taught me also, and said unto me, Let thine heart retain my words: keep my commandments, and live.5 Get wisdom, get understanding: forget it not; neither decline from the words of my mouth.6 Forsake her not, and she shall preserve thee: love her, and she shall keep thee.7 Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.
With the proper foundation and context of our understanding being first and foremost what is written in the books of the scriptures from Genesis through The Revelation, we may soon be witnessing signs in the heavens that directly point to the promises of the prophetic scriptures. Indeed, Yahushua’s instruction to us in the last days as we recognize the prophetic signs unfolding is to “look up” (Luke 21:28), and this instruction now appears to be more literal than we may have previously understood, since the heavens will confirm the prophecies with great precision in message and timing as an independent and objective second witness.

Is Elenin really causing the earthquakes on earth?
Firstly let us consider the core message the comments being made on comet Elenin. When considering the apocalyptic commentators (of all shades of religions and persuasions), I found that they share a singular common proclamation - that Elenin is THE CAUSE of earthquakes, Tsunamis and increasing apocalyptic disasters that will occur on the earth.
To the student of the scriptures, such causality is clearly not only foolishness but it also serves to minimize the written true prophetic oracles of YHVH, who is the cause and sustainer of ALL creation. Such proclamations of simple causality thus have the actual effect of causing people not only to fear the wrong things but to be completely incapacitated from hearing/seeing the true message that YHVH is giving the world through His sending of this comet across the bow of the earth. Why? Because at the heart of such messages from YHVH, is the truth that these matters are spiritually discerned (1 Cor 2:14).
When one understands that Elenin is but a small comet, much smaller than the moon, the proclamations that the comet is causing earthquakes on the earth is not even rational, and therefore the promotion of such thinking must have some other ulterior objectives. If the proximity of the moon is not causing apocalyptic events on the earth, then how will Elenin do so when it is not only much smaller but will be at a much greater distance from the earth than the moon is to the earth?

The logic of a simplistic causality that Elenin is causing earthquake disasters is also false and absurd in the context of the greater biblical narrative. For instance such logic is comparable to the reasoning that at the time of the great apocalyptic event of the Exodus, when the Hebrews arrived at the Red Sea, it was the Hebrews arrival at the beach that caused the sea to open – or alternatively the Red Sea opening caused the drawing out of Israelites to the beach. Clearly such reasoning is completely inadequate!
The biblical narrative informs us that neither physical event was the cause of the other, but it was YHVH the creator of the Universe who caused both physical events to take place at a certain appointed time. That YHVH can bring physical events together at a specific point in time, using the natural in a supernatural way to simultaneously give 1) blessings of redemption to His people and 2) destruction to His enemies, is a clear witness that He is the true God of creation! Simple causality reasoning in the limited mind of humans (the “wisdom" of men and their religions) is thus foolishness before God. Rather, YHVH tells us to understand that as the Creator of the universe He causes many events to occur at a specific intersections of prophetically appointed times, already prophesied ahead by millennia and that the precise intersections of such events are the very evidence and testimony of real Divine miracles – this is biblical wisdom!
In Luke 21:11, Yahushua warned that in the last days “great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven”, but he did not proclaim a causal relationship between these events in and of themselves. Rather, his warning is that when YHVH’s people witness these things specifically occurring ALL AT THE VERY SAME TIME then we could discern that the time of the last days have arrived.
When we begin to understand the message that Elenin heralds within the full context of WRITTEN biblical prophecy and that its message confirms the full written biblical Word of YHVH, the LAW and the Prophets, then we begin to get some grasp of just how great a sign from Abba YHVH this comet is really going to be, to "those who will get understanding" !
When Will Comet Elenin begin to proclaim YHVH’s Message?
That the world’s attention has been brought to comet Elenin via the internet since late 2010 is not by chance. Over the past few decades Abba YHVH has been clearly calling His people to attention in a call of return and repentance back to His declared written Word, and away from (to come out of) religious traditions of men. This return to carefully study His Word to hear and obey His commandments and to hear His true prophetic declarations for the restoration of Jacob have laid the foundation upon which He now brings confirmatory signs in the heavens so that His remnant people will have authoritative understanding and wisdom for the days immediately ahead.
According to scientific astronomer Dr. Alan Hale “Comet Elenin possesses the potential to be a relatively bright, perhaps even conspicuous, naked-eye object… A cautiously optimistic projection … suggests a peak brightness of 5th or 6th magnitude during September and October, although it could well be one or two or more magnitudes brighter, or fainter, than this. There is a possibility of a fairly strong brightness enhancement due to forward scattering of sunlight when the comet passes between the earth and the sun in late September, however this will probably be quite brief and, more importantly, the comet's elongation from the sun will be very small.” (http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/laxastro/message/1381 )
NASA states that Elenin will be closest to the Sun in early September 2011 at a distance from the Sun of 40-45 million miles. It will be closest to Earth on about 16 October, at a distance of about 21 million miles, which is nearly a hundred times farther than the Moon. When Elenin is situtated in the Crown of Virgo, Elenin begins to herald its message to those who have understanding
As Elenin comes closer in its approach to earth, astronomers have become much more precise about it its predicted behaviour.
It is expected to be situated in the crown of Virgo on the 29th September 2011. This date is significant because according to the biblically prescribed Aviv calendar (note: not the Rabbinical Jewish Calendar) the evening of the 29th September will be the first day of the 7th month – i.e. the biblically defined appointed time of the Feast of Trumpets! At the same time as it is situated in the crown of constellation of Virgo, which contains twelve stars, it begins its heraldic message. By the 16th October, Elenin will be at it closest position to the earth, and by the biblical calendar, this event will occur during the early days of the Feast of Tabernacles . Elenin will then have left the constellation of Virgo at this time, having started to move through other significant constellations declaring its full heraldic message.
Over the millennia, ancient Eastern, Babylonian, Greek, and Roman civilizations have influenced today’s perceptions and theories of the Zodiac. Paganism, occultism, kabbalism, Roman Christianism and secularism (all the religions of men) have all done what they possibly can to obscure, distort and cover up the true Divine message of the heavens and its stellar constellations. In doing so they have hoped to prevent the heavens from proclaiming its independent (creation) witness of YHVH’s Gospel of the Kingdom that corresponds fully to the written Word of YHVH. Instead they have created their own theologies that worship the heavenly hosts as gods. This fruit is seen in the religious festivals that men observe, for example the proclaiming and observation of Sunday, Easter and Christmas as days of worship as opposed to YHVH’s commanded Sabbath, and the biblically appointed times.
In Jeremiah we read that YHVH’s people are commanded not to respect or observe the false teachings that men offer concerning the heavenlies.
Jeremiah 10: 1 ¶ Hear ye the word which YHVH speaketh unto you, O house of Israel: 2 Thus saith YHVH, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them.
But YHVH teaches that the heavens declare His glory (Psalm 91:1) and proclaim His eternal Gospel of the Kingdom, and that the sun, moon and stars are given for prophetic signs and the timing of the fulfillment of those signs across the ages of man.

From the time of Elenin leaves the crown of Virgo, it is then expected to be passing in a specific order through a significant set of constellations that together, with the message in Virgo, makes up its complete heraldic message. Thus to “get understanding” of this message, not only do we need understanding of the biblical prophets and the Torah parable of the redemption of Jacob in the last days, but we also need to know something of how the constellations declare this message in the heavenlies, and we need to be watching the heavenlies for signs (revelation) of the timing of the fulfillment of written prophecy. When understood correctly, the message YHVH declares in the stars will always directly correlate and confirm the full biblical narrative found in the written Word of YHVH.
A Biblical Mark of Wisdom – proper discernment of significant signs in the heavenlies
The wise men from the east, recorded in the Gospels, presented themselves to worship Yahushua Messiah at his birth (Matthew 2). They made proper identification and interpretation of significant signs in the heavenlies which were prophetically declared in the Tenach (Moses,the prophets and the writings). In the “wise men” we see something of the definition of biblical wisdom of the wise men who made their journey to worship at the birth of Messiah, due to their proper understanding of the specific signs in the heavenlies which was also testified to in the written prophetic scripture.
When Elenin enters Virgo's crown on 29th September, we will witness a very unique condition taking place in Virgo. Elenin will be in the company of the 12 stars in the crown of Virgo, the sun will be clothing her shoulders, and the moon will be positioned at her feet. In her womb will be two stars – Saturn and Venus. This is the very picture of the woman described in Revelation chapter 12 and is a historical description of the birth of Yahushua and His resurrection in the first instance, and in the second prophetic instance is the account of the birth and restoration of the redeemed nation of Jacob (the prophesied restoration of the two Houses of Israel) in the last days.
Jeremiah 33: 24 24 Considerest thou not what this people have spoken, saying, The two families which YHVH hath chosen, he hath even cast them off? thus they have despised my people, that they should be no more a nation before them.
Ezekiel 37: 19 Say unto them, Thus saith YHVH GOD; Behold, I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel his fellows, and will put them with him, even with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, and they shall be one in mine hand.
20 And the sticks whereon thou writest shall be in thine hand before their eyes.
21 And say unto them, Thus saith YHVH GOD; Behold, I will take the children of Israel from among the heathen, whither they be gone, and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land:
22 And I will make them one nation in the land upon the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king to them all: and they shall be no more two nations, neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all:
In the time of the birth of Messiah, it is discussed by astronomers today that Yahushua was born during an unusual alignment of Jupiter and Venus in Virgo – which imight have been what the wise men had observed. In the first instance of the Revelation 12 prophetic narrative, the manchild Yahushua was caught up to YHVH’s throne in the heavenlies until a set time. In the second instance of the prophetic narrative of Revelation 12, the manchild that is born is the restoration of the two Houses of Israel, Judah and Joseph/Israel who are the remnant people of YHVH into ONE NATION - the redeemed nation of Jacob who will yet be caught “up unto God, and to his throne.” (Rev 12:5) – which will herald the great second exodus of YHVH’s remnant people from the four corners of the earth to the land of Zion, Jerusalem, which is where Messiah’s throne will be. In that day Jerusalem’s name will be “YHVH is there” (Ezekiel 48:35).
The Message of Revelation 12 in Virgo is Expected to be Evident in the Heavenlies on the 29th September 2011
The following picture shows what is expected to be happening on 29th September 2011 when comet Elenin moves into Virgo's crown, the evening of the 29th September is the appointed time of the Feast of Trumpets. Elenin will move into Virgo’s head – a constellation of 12 stars (representing the 12 tribes of Jacob). At the same time Virgo’s shoulders will be “clothed” with the sun, and the moon will be at her feet. In Virgo’s womb will be two stars Saturn and Venus representing the two Houses of Israel in the womb and about to be brought forth which is the last days message of all the major and minor biblical prophets (especially Ezekiel 36, 37:16-21), Romans 11 and the Book of Revelation.
Christian Rome along with the pagan religions has distorted the ancient identities of Saturn and Venus, as evidenced by the fact that Rome proclaims that Venus is a picture of “Lucifer”, whom they teach is the “bright morning star”. Note that Lucifer is not a biblical name but a Latin Roman name which they have inserted into English bible translations. Alternatively, a second school in Rome teaches that Venus represents "Mary". When people believe these Christian replacement interpretations of Venus they are blinded from understanding the true scriptural message being heralded when Saturn and Venus appear in the Woman’s womb together. But if we carefully read the scriptures we find, contrary to the dogmas of Rome on this issue, that Yahushua identifies himself plainly as the bright morning star in Revelation 22.
Rev 22:16 I Yahushua have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.
The bright morning star in the heavenlies, even as understood in ancient times is symbolized by the planet Venus. Contrary to ancient hebraic thought, ancient Rome worshipped Jupiter as the most high God in its pantheon. However in ancient Hebrew, Saturn is simply a sign (according to Gen 1:14 - a message bearer), and Saturn's name was "shabtai" which comes from "shabbat" and was understood as the "sabbath planet" and symbolised significance of the sabbath of YHVH. Thus Saturn in hebraic thought points clearly to YHVH’s Law and the keeping of His commandments, particularly the sabbath. The prophet Isaiah foretold that the keepers of YHVH's sabbath is a distinctive sign of the coming "new man" as is prophesied in Isaiah 56:4-8 where YHVH declares that he will bring all those, including "strangers", who do not polute His sabbath to His holy mountain in the last days.
Isaiah 56: 4 For thus saith YHVH unto the eunuchs that keep my sabbaths, and choose the things that please me, and take hold of my covenant;
5 Even unto them will I give in mine house and within my walls a place and a name better than of sons and of daughters: I will give them an everlasting name, that shall not be cut off.
6 Also the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to YHVH, to serve him, and to love the name of YHVH, to be his servants, every one that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and taketh hold of my covenant;
7 Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people.
8 The Adon YHVH which gathereth the outcasts of Israel saith, Yet will I gather others to him, beside those that are gathered unto him.
Thus, according to ancient Hebrew understanding, when we see the planets Saturn and Venus in the womb of Virgo, the message is that a manchild (12 Israel) who upholds the Law of YHVH, faithfully observing YHVH's sabbath, and who has the testimony of Yahushua Messiah is about to born! This is also the precise biblical description of the remnant people of YHVH that is prophesied to come through the time of tribulation in the last days.
Rev 12:17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Yahushua Messiah.
Rev 14:12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Yahushua.

The sun in Virgo’s clothing tells us that the bridegroom is about to come out of his chamber to meet his betrothed! This can be understood from Psalm19:4-5
Psalm19:4 Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun, 5 Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race.
So when Elenin enters the crown of Virgo from the 29th of September our attention is being called to the prophetic witness of Revelation 12 and the woman travailing with the two Houses of Israel in her womb, which will be soon be birthed - the promsed redeemed “one new man” House of Jacob (Romans 11) AND that YHVH's Messiah is about to be united with His betrothed! The statistical probabilities of all these heavenly signs occurring simultaneously in Virgo at the appointed time of the Feast of Trumpets in the year 2011 is incalculable! The event can only be a truly miraculous Divine sign that Abba YHVH has sent to encourage His people, that He has not forgotten His promises and covenants! Hallelujah! Hallelujah!

The following Youtube Video graphically presents this phenomenon in Virgo very well for you to see what is expected to happen on the 29th September, using contemporary astronomy software. However, as a Christian presentation, it unfortunately uses the Pagan tradition that Saturn represents the Dragon who is trying to destroy the child who is Venus.
However this is an incorrect interpretation, as in ancient Hebraic understanding Saturn is the "sabbath planet". Biblically both Saturn and Venus are properly seen as the remnant of the Two Houses of Israel who will soon be born in the prophesied time of “affliction” – a people scripturally described as those who 1) keep the commandments of God (rightoeusness) and 2) have the testimony of Yahushua – which explains why both Saturn and Venus are associated together at the same time in the womb of Virgo the Woman.
In the heavenly signs, the Dragon is presented very separately elsewhere in the constellation Draco, the great serpent, and should not be confused with the planet Saturn which properly represents the last days sabbath-keeping remnant of YHVH who are walking in the light of Yahushua, the “bright morning star” .

But Wait – Elenin Yet Declares More – The Coming Days of Awe Where Israel is Redeemed and the Nations are Judged!

Once Elenin has begun to deliver its message in Virgo, (when is situated in Virgo’s crown), Elenin will thereafter leave Virgo and travel through other constellations, which proclaim yet more of the Divine message. According to the astronomers it will pass through a total of seven constellations in this order – Virgo, Leo, Cancer, Gemini, Auriga, Taurus and finally the subconstallation of the seven stars of Pleiades (which is in the neck of Taurus).
This anticipated journey has been graphically presented in the following Youtube Video:
A summary of the ancient Hebraic understanding of the Divine message presented by each of these heavenly constellations that Elenin is expected to travel through is as follows:
Virgo – “the promised seed of the virgin”; Leo – “The Lion of the tribe of Judah”, Cancer – “holding fast his redeemed”, Gemini – “united in the messiah’s reign”, Auriga - "the Shepherd who provides safety”, Taurus - “the coming judgement of Messiah”

Around November 23, when Elenin completes its journey into Taurus it will significantly settle into the midst Taurus’ sub collection of SEVEN stars known as Pleiades. Pleiades, the cluster of seven stars in the neck of Taurus, represents His congregation gathered in tabernacles or assemblies, which Isaiah prophesied and John confirmed. (Revelation 1:11)
It will remain at rest in Pleiades, amongst the seven stars, until January 2012 where it will finally disappear from sight as it moves further into the universe, symbolising that Yahushua will be eternally in the midst of His redeemed congregation. In ancient hebraic thought, the seven star constellation was not called "Pleiades" which is a name of Greek mythology, but its was "succoth" which means "booths" and refers to the prophetic fullfilment of the feast of Tabernacles, where YHVH will dwell among His people in the Messianic era.

Summary of the Possible Messianic Herald of Elenin

The coming of Elenin is a significant event causing us to focus our attention on the second last days fulfillment of Revelation 12, which concerns the birth of the “one new man” – redeemed Israel (Ephesians 2:14-16)– otherwise called in scripture as the manifested sons of God (Romans 8:19). Elenin is a part of creation and independently witnesses to us that we have reached the time for the soon coming birth of the sons of God, an event which the whole of creation seen in the heavenlies is groaning.

1. Elenin reveals itself in Virgo’s crown of 12 stars on 29th September 2011, the Feast of Yom Teruah. Virgo symbolises the “promised seed of the Virgin” which are the redeemed 12 tribes of Israel in her crown. (c.f. Revelation 7:4-9; Revelation 12).
2. As Elenin enters the crown of Virgo we find Virgo will be in travail with the redeemed Two Houses of Israel in her womb. Elenin heralds an announcement that the short time of confinement of the Two Houses (Ezekiel 20:35), is about to result in the birth of “one new man” manchild (Romans 11).
3. The birth of “one new man” manchild is the redeemed House Jacob (Isaiah 49:6).
4. The time is when Virgo is clothed with the sun, referring to wedding garments – the bridegroom is coming to meet his betrothed. The moon is at her feet, symbolisng creation is awaiting this event.
5. The bridegroom is the Lion of the Tribe of Judah
6. He will hold fast to his redeemed and bring them home (Jeremiah 3:14)
7. He, the Lion of Judah, will unite the two Houses of Israel. He will come to reign upon the earth and the Law will go forth from Zion (Ezekiel 37; Isaiah 2:3; Micah 4:2; Romans 11)
8. He is the good shepherd who provides safety for his flock in the day of the judgment of the nations. (John 10:11-14)

This is the essential Messianic herald of comet Elenin, which is accurately confirming the testimony of YHVH’s written Word, in its covenants with His people and its prophecies of the last days restoration of Zion.

In understanding the true message that the heavenlies declare, we have a practical Torah precept - that a matter of truth should be confirmed by more than one independent witness – we have the written Word of YHVH in our hands, and above in the heavens we have the Word of witness in creation, both of which proclaim the very same testimony of truth and the prophecies, even confirming the days and years.
Again let me emphasize that when YHVH declared in His Torah (Genesis 1:14) that the firmaments of the heavens will be for signs, seasons, days and years , this means that prophetic heraldic signs must be expected to occur in the heavenlies which will give objective testimony to the very appointed times of the acomplishment of Divinely declared prophetic events, just we saw the wise men, some two millenia ago look to the heavens to realise the time of Messiah's birth. Now it is happening again! I have often wondered how Abba will authoritatively confirm His propehtic Word to all His people at the same time - well Elenin might be just one of the ways He could do it!
