BOLDNESS
Somewhere along the way, organized religion SOLD US the idea that Christians ARE SUPPOSED TO BE MOUSY AND TIMID.

Somewhere along the way we came to believe we're supposed to be quiet, backward, unnoticed, and non-intrusive: Just mind our own business.

That being a "good Christian" means to ALWAYS have this idiotic smile, be nice, go to church, go home, and not make any waves.

That we're supposed to be human doormats, and accept whatever comes our way.

That we're not to have any impact in the world around us, that we're not to engage in, or affect popular culture.

That we are to retreat into the safety of certain man-invented buildings we [incorrectly] call "churches" and barricade ourselves.

That we should ‘hold the fort" and see those buildings as places of refuge, to shelter us from all the evil that goes on around us.
We were sold a whole bunch of unbiblical, religious B.S.
Somewhere along the way, the Church was put on defense.

When all the while we should have been be playing OFFENSE.
Where did the religious establishment get these ideas?

Certainly NOT from the Bible!

That's just the opposite of what we read in the Gospels.

That's NOT the example that Jesus and His apostles set for us.

Jesus told us to GO INTO [penetrate] ALL the world. That sounds like offense to me.

He never told us to hide inside air conditioned buildings with padded pews, sing boring hymns, and let the world go to hell!

Jesus was always on offense.

Even when He hung in agony on the cross, He was on offense. He was in control. He was pro-active. He was setting a trap for satan. And satan fell for it.

Satan paid dearly for that mistake, and is still paying.

If the princes of this world had known they would have never crucified the Lord of Glory [1st Corinthians 2:8].
How can we even call ourselves "Christian" when we don't follow our Master's example?

Go INTO all the world. . . means just that.... "all" means "ALL".

We're supposed to go into bars and brothels, hospitals and clubs, schools and homes, factories and offices, parties and funerals. We're supposed to go on the streets, and invade all forms of media with his glorious message of eternal life.

Proverbs 28:1 says "the righteous are as bold as a lion".
Jesus' NEVER preached retreat. He told us to ADVANCE. He told us to OCCUPY.

Let's get on offence, and put satan and his minions on defense.

Let's put them where they belong, under the Church's feet.

The Promised Land is there for us to take. Do we still fear the "giants"? Or are we BOLD ENOUGH to cross the Jordan?
