HOW LONG, LORD?

As many of you know from previous teaching, we are living between the 5th and 6th seal of the Book of Revelation.

The 6th seal is the Rapture.

Under the 5th seal, we see many martyrs' souls under God's altar in heaven crying out to God "HOW LONG, O Lord, holy and true, do you not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth? (Revelation 6:10).

I know from the emails we receive that MANY of you are asking THAT SAME QUESTION.

Unlike tepid Laodiceans which pervade Christendom, you have INTENSE DESIRE to be ushered into God's Presence, see our Lord Jesus, and leave this ugly, miserable world behind.

I want to assure you that God is not indifferent to your heartfelt wish, or to your pleas.

He hears all of it, and He will answer in due course.

To the martyrs clamoring for justice, God's reply is to:

..."wait a little longer, until THE NUMBER OF their fellow servants and brothers who were to be killed as they had been completed" (Revelation 6:11).

The 6th seal is opened and the Rapture takes place in the next verse, Revelation 6:12.

Tribulation judgments begin when the 7th seal is opened (Revelation 8:2).

So, clearly ONE thing that's been holding up the Rapture is that the number of Christian martyrs, like those who already died and whose souls are in heaven, MUST BE FULFILLED.

What that exact number is, we're not told.

But the point is this: Persecution of Christians has increased dramatically in recent years and, particularly, in recent months.

As we previously reported, Christians in Iraq weren't even able to celebrate Christmas last December, due to fear of Muslim retaliation.

In Egypt, we've seen increased attacks on churches, and on Coptic Christians who, although 21 million strong, are still a minority compared to the huge and expanding Muslim population.

It would take volumes to talk about other places like Nigeria, Iran, Saudi Arabia, North Korea, Burma, Viet Nam, Indonesia, and China where being Christian automatically makes you a target of either religious fanatics, oppressive regimes, or both.

I laugh when I hear American Christians whine about being "persecuted".

Shut up! Just because someone told a joke on TV ridiculing Christians, or labeled us "intolerant", that's not persecution.

Frankly, a lot of Christians bring this on themselves, and DESERVE IT.

In America, we don't even KNOW what persecution is.

Unless your life is SERIOUSLY IN DANGER because of your faith, don't talk to me about "persecution", please.

THOUSANDS of our brothers and sisters throughout the world are dying as MARTYRS for their faith.

While we pray for them, cover them with the Blood of Jesus, and pray for God's protection, as they give their lives for the Lord the tally in heaven is increasing.

God said that He would judge this sin laden world, once the predetermined number of Christian martyrs is completed.

And our martyrs DO NOT strap a bomb to their chest so they can blow themselves up into smithereens, and everyone else they can kill in the process.

Our martyrs DO NOT die out of HATRED for their fellow man, but out of LOVE for them and for their Savior.

Our martyrs don't die because of some EVIL ACT of terror they commited.

They die simply for being Christians: Nothing more, and nothing less.

Every one of our precious, brave brothers and sisters who die for Jesus' sake bring us a step closer to ultimate Redemption.

So, to the enemies of Christ, to those who would murder Christians, just because they ARE believers in the One true God, Jesus Christ, we serve notice:

Every Christian you kill brings us a step closer to Jesus, and brings you SEVERAL STEPS CLOSER TO His judgment.

God knows WHO you are. He knows WHERE you are.

Unless you repent, and receive His Messiah Jesus into your heart, His tribulation will come upon you suddenly and unexpectedly, and you will not escape.
