REVEALED KNOWLEDGE
Mattew 13:54-57 reports this about Jesus:

"Coming to his hometown, he began teaching the people in their synagogue, and they were amazed.

"WHERE did this man get this wisdom and these miraculous powers?" they asked.

"Isn't this the carpenter's son? Isn't his mother's name Mary, and aren't his brothers James, Joseph, Simon and Judas? Aren't all his sisters with us?

WHERE then did this man get all these things?" And they took offense at Him".

Although that was written some 2,000 years ago, I can truly testify that religious people are just as befuddled by Spirit revelation today as they were then.

Truly, there's NOTHING new under the sun.

Religionists, ministers and theologians ask those same questions today.

The reason they ask is because THEY KNOW such revelation DIDN'T COME FROM Bible College or seminary.

If it did, THEY would have gotten it. If it did, they would have heard it ELSEWHERE.

While Jesus was/is God now and forever, He was/is also 100% human.

In His human condition, He had emptied Himself of His glory and of A LOT of the knowledge He possesses as Deity.

As a human, He got His knowledge the same way you, I, and EVERY believer should get it:

From the Spirit of God and the Word of God.

Jesus, being The Word incarnate, KNEW the Scriptures BETTER than all the Scribes and Pharisees of His day.

Today, in His multitudinous manifestation, He knows them better than anyone, and certainly better than MODERN Scribes and Pharisees.

If believers shoved aside EVERY preconceived notion, ALL the man-made institutional and denominational INVENTIONS, and kristian media brainwashing they've been subjected to, as well as their OWN SELFISH AGENDAS, and just opened their Bibles, read it like it was THE FIRST TIME, get in receiving mode, and allow THE HOLY SPIRIT to speak thru His Word..., they'd be so surprised, so wise, and so edified, that we would have AN ENTIRELY DIFFERENT CHURCH.

There'd be fewer divisions, fewer denominations, far less false doctrine, much stronger faith, sound knowledge and UNITY OF SPIRIT.

Revelation comes to a Christian when the Spirit of God takes the LIVING Word [Jesus] inside our hearts and, quickens Him (it) and CONNECTS HIM to His written Word.

That's when the Mind of Christ in us OPENS UP and His secrets are REVEALED [1 Corinthians 2:9-16].

Jesus said "my words they are SPIRIT and they are LIFE" [John 6:63].

He said man should NOT live "by bread alone" but BY EVERY WORD that proceeds out of God's mouth [Matthew 4:4].

When satan tempted Him, Jesus DIDN'T answer "so and so says...", "this prophecy expert says...", "my denomination teaches...", "I read a book that says...", "I saw a Christian movie that showed...", "I watched a video on YouTube that taught...", "I had this emotional experience...", "the result of my OWN study is..." or "my favorite Bible teacher says...".

He QUOTED the WRITTEN Word of God, VERBATIM: "it is written", "it is written", "it is written".

By the time que uttered the THIRD "it is written", the devil was GONE.

Paul referred to the Word of God as "the SWORD of the Spirit" [Ephesians 6:17].

He also said He/it is sharp enough to "divide soul and spirit joint and marrow and to DISCERN the THOUGHTS and INTENTS of the (human) heart" [Hebrews 4:12].

Those who approach God's Word with a PERSONAL AGENDA aren't fooling anyone but THEMSELVES.

Jesus is not subject to St. Augustine, St. Thomas Aquinas, C.S. Lewis, or C.I. Scofield.

He's not under Assemblies of God, United Presbyterian, or Southern Baptist theology.

He doesn't answer to John Calvin, John Wesley or James Arminius.

He's not bound by OUR theological persuation.

Jesus is His own favorite theologian.

It's His agenda that matters, NOT OURS.

It's His agenda, not ours, that'll come to pass.

Get with His program, submit your own will and desires to His, and REVELATION WILL COME.
