How do we determine in the prophecies when the prophets spoke of the first, second, and third comings, all mingled in the same visions? Tom Stapleton continues to lay a foundation to help the viewer understand how to rightly divide prophecies when God gave the end from the beginning, but often left out thousands of years in between. He would forewarn of things coming in the immediate future, and then remind them of His final promise of a sinless eternity with Him. Many make the mistake of trying to place the "end" as the next event after the initial beginning concluded, or when that doesn't work, place it where it fits their preconceived notion of events. Instead, to rightly divide, the student must use God's calendar, His prior actions, and future unfolding of events or prophetic visions to determine where the "end" associated with the individual prophecy belongs.

This is an ongoing study, which by necessity is very detailed and thus time consuming. Because it is the glory of God to conceal a matter and the glory of kings to search out these matters (Proverbs 25:2), and because it is those who seek Him with their whole heart who are the ones who find Him (Jeremiah 29:13), and because this is our eternity we are speaking about, this is not a "bottom line" study, but rather a "line upon line, precept upon precept" study. Those who are willing to invest the time to fully grasp the nuances of prophecy will be blessed.
