"This night Thou Shall be with me in Paradise.". This was said to the thief who asked Christ to remember him.

Did Christ/Yahusha go to heaven that night? If not, then where is Paradise?

It is in the region below where those Old Testament Saints who had died were kept until their Resurrection Day. It was also known as Abraham's Bosom. That place had a great gulf between it and the side where the Rich Man who chose his riches over the Creator was kept and who begged Abraham for a drop of water while he waited until the Final Resurrection Day.

The churches have taught that there is only One Resurrection but, pray tell, what do you call the day when Christ Yahusha arose from the grave and led the captive free? Psalm 18:68 Wasn't He the First Fruit, that arose from the dead and didn't He, just as prophesied, led the others (captive) free? . They were seen all over Jerusalem as a testimony to the Risen Power of Yahuaha.

And then, they will tell you that they had to die again. Now, wait a minute. Doesn't scripture tell us that it is appointed "Once" unto man to die and then the Judgement ? Hebrews 9:27.

So, down through all of this Church History we are being told that there is only One Resurrection because people fail to read their Bibles and put two and two together so they can come up with the Truth of a Second and Final Resurrection .

There was the Resurrection of those who died before Christ and there will be the Resurrection of those who die since that time. That would include our loved ones who chose Him as Savior, which we shall see again.

For instance, do you think the Apostles, who died after the time of Christ were resurrected? We may have put them into that category but No, they like all the Faithful of the New Testament, will need to wait until I Thess. 4:16-17 "For the LORD himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the LORD in the air. And so we will be with the LORD forever."

By the way, this is not a Rapture verse. Notice, it says who will rise first and then second? It is a Resurrection Promise.
