Webmaster’s Note: Nephilim are the offspring that resulted from the mating of fallen angels with humans. They were giants, often with six fingers, six toes, double rows of teeth and massive appetites for blood.

One basic truth can be used as a foundation for a mountain of lies, and if we dig down deep enough in the mountain of lies, and bring out that truth, to set it on top of the mountain of lies; the entire mountain of lies will crumble under the weight of that one truth, and there is nothing more devastating to a structure of lies than the revelation of the truth upon which the structure of lies was built, because the shock waves of the revelation of the truth reverberate, and continue to reverberate throughout the Earth for generations to follow, awakening even those people who had no desire to be awakened to the truth.

From ancient Rome to Greece – and before that, to Egypt, Assyria, Babylonia, and Sumer – the earliest records of human civilization tell of the era when powerful creatures known to the Hebrews as Watchers and in the Book of Genesis as the sons of God mingled themselves with humans, giving birth to part-celestial, part-terrestrial hybrids known as the Nephilim – derived from the Hebrew root word ‘naphal’ meaning ‘the fallen ones’. Genesis 6:1 says this happened when men began to multiply on Earth and daughters were born unto them.

When the sons of God saw the women’s beauty, they took wives from among them to give birth to their most unusual offspring. The whole of the ancient record is understood to mean that the Watchers wanted to leave their proper sphere of existence in order to enter Earth’s three-dimensional reality. They viewed women – or at least their genetic material – as part of the formula for accomplishing this task. Spiritual things are not allegorical abstractions; rather, reference is being made to beings or things that do not originate in our dimension. Those entities have their origin in other dimensions known as the spiritual realm.

That realm is able to interact with ours in ways that we do not fully understand. The prophecy of Genesis 3:15 states that the serpent will one day mix his seed with humanity to produce a counterfeit of the messiah. In the Book of Daniel (2:43) we read that there will once again come a time when the fallen angels will mingle with the seed of men. Also, the Messiah told us that the last days will be like the days of Noah when fallen angels would once again mix their seed with humanity.

Genesis 6:1-7:

“And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them, That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.

And the Lord said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years. There were Nephilim in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men [gibborim] which were of old, men of renown.

And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And it repented the Lord that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. And the Lord said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.”



The Nephilim that were produced by the angel/mankind marriage were much different from either of their parents. This act of defiance clearly went against God’s plan for the Earth in which each animal and human being was to reproduce ‘after its own kind’. This is perhaps the best demonstration that the parents of these creatures were not simply descendants of Cain and Seth. Had they been, they would have produced human offspring, rather than the Nephilim. The Nephilim were more than simply large beings or giants.

When the Greek Septuagint was created, the Hebrew word Nephilim was translated into Greek as gegenes. This is the same word used in Greek mythology for the ‘Titans’, creatures created through the interbreeding of the Greek gods and human beings. (The English words ‘genes’ and ‘genetics’ are built around the same root word as gegenes; genea means ‘bread’ or ‘kind’.)

From the Book of Enoch

Enoch 6:1-3:

“And it came to pass when the children of men had multiplied that in those days were born unto them beautiful and comely daughters. And the angels, the children of the heaven, saw and lusted after them, and said to one another: ‘Come, let us choose us wives from among the children of men and beget us children.”

Jubilees 5:1-2:

“And it came to pass when the children of men began to multiply on the face of the earth and daughters were born unto them, that the angels of God saw them on a certain year of this jubilee, that they were beautiful to look upon; and they took themselves wives of all whom they chose, and they bare unto them sons and they were giants.”

W.F. Albright:

“The Israelites who heard this section recited unquestionably thought of intercourse between angels and women.”

Ante-Nicenes:

“…impure love of virgins, and were subjugated by the flesh… Of those lovers of virgins therefore, were begotten those who are called giants… the angels transgressed, and were captivated by love of women and begat children.”

1 Enoch 10:3-8:

“And I Enoch was blessing the Lord of majesty and the King of the ages, and lo! The Watchers called me – Enoch the scribe – and said to me: Enoch, thou scribe of righteousness, go, declare the Watchers of the heaven who have left the high heaven, the holy eternal place, and have defiled themselves with women, and have done as the children of earth do, and have taken unto themselves wives: Ye have wrought great destruction on the earth: And ye shall have no peace nor forgiveness of sin: and inasmuch as they delight themselves in their children [Nephilim], The murder of their beloved ones shall they see, and over the destruction of their children shall they lament, and shall make supplication unto eternity, but mercy and peace shall ye not attain.”



Jubilees 4:15, 22, 5:1:

“The Sons of God were sent down to teach mankind truth and justice; and for three hundred years did indeed teach Cain’s son Enoch all the secrets of heaven and earth. Later, however, they lusted after mortal women and defiled themselves by sexual intercourse. Enoch has recorded not only divine instructions, but also their subsequent fall from grace; before the end they were indiscriminately enjoying virgins, matrons, men, and beasts.”

Exodus 22:19:

“Whosoever lieth with a beast shall surely be put to death.”

The Book of Enoch was an ancient best seller before it was lost to be rediscovered alongside the Dead Sea Scrolls the same year as the incident at Roswell. In the centuries immediately preceding and following the coming of Christ, this book was widely read and discussed, and its impact was tremendous. Without question it is the most notable apocalyptical work outside the canonical Scriptures. R. H. C. Charles, an outstanding authority in this field, tells us that, “the influence of 1 Enoch on the New Testament has been greater than that of all the other apocryphal and pseudepigraphical books put together” Jude 14 contains a direct quote from Enoch 1:9, 5:4, and 27:2.

Yet, with all the incredible mysteries, this book remained neglected for more than 1,800 years, and continues to remain neglected, and even shunned, in the twentieth century. Enoch is listed in the Bible as the seventh of the ten patriarchs between Adam and Noah. He was the father of Methuselah, the man holding the world’s record for longevity (969). The most remarkable fact of all is that Enoch did not die – ‘Enoch walked with God; and he was not, for God took him’. He is one of the only two men mentioned in the Bible who were translated to Heaven without tasting death.



The Book of Enoch, like the Genesis Apocryphon, refers to these ‘sons of God’ as Watchers – a term also used in the Book of Daniel. Enoch alleges that two hundred of these Watchers descended to Earth in the days of Jared (Genesis 5:18), and some of them are given names. The worst ones of all were Shernihaza, the leader of the evil angels, and Azazel who was accused of having ‘scattered over the earth the secrets of heaven and hath rebelled against the Mighty One’.

God was moved to anger at these Watchers because of the horrible practices that they had introduced upon the Earth. And there was something else: God was angry at the fact that they had disclosed certain secrets, and were teaching them to their sons, the Nephilim. We are not told exactly what these secrets were except that they were ‘eternal secrets’ which men of Earth were striving to learn, and which God did not intend for fallen man to discover.

Enoch 7:1-6:

“And all the others together with them took unto themselves wives, and each chose for himself one, and they began to go in unto them and to defile themselves with them…And they became pregnant, and they bare great giants, whose height was three thousand ells [450 feet]: Who consumed all the acquisitions of men. And when men could no longer sustain them, the giants turned against them and devoured mankind.

And they began to sin against birds, and beasts, and reptiles, and fish, and to devour one another’s flesh, and drink the blood. Then the earth laid accusation against the lawless ones.”

Genesis 6:12-13:

“And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth. And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.”

Jubilees 5:2-3:

“And lawlessness increased on the earth and all flesh corrupted its way, alike man and cattle and beasts and birds and everything that walks on the earth – all of them corrupted their ways and their orders, and they began to devour each other, and lawlessness increased on the earth and every imagination of the thoughts of all men [was] thus evil continually.”

1 Corinthians 15:39-40:

“All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds. There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another.”

This clearly indicates that genetic experiments that place human DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid) into animals is an abomination toward God’s Mosaic laws. That this is now being done means that our hi-tech scientific experiments with genetic transfer of human DNA into animals also means that we have again entered into a period that is ‘as the days of Noah were’. This is a clear indication that we may be approaching the time of the Great Tribulation, when Satan will make his final assault on mankind.
