When God tells you to move, you better move or you can sit and die.

The Word of the Lord tells the story of Elijah who was told to move and did so even though it seemed foolish.

Elijah saw a widow woman gathering sticks to make a fire so she could take what little meal she had left to make a small meal for herself and her son. Elijah told her to go into her home and make a cake for him. Now...doesn't that sound a bit gutsy for the prophet to ask this of the widow woman? But Elijah was a man who followed orders and this little single woman had the faith to do as she was told.

Did she regret her move to do as she was told? Absolutely not! God provided food for her and her son for the rest of the time that the famine was in the land.

The lesson needs to be for us s well. We need to be saved and have faith enough that He, the Creator and Controller of all things, will take care of us if we move according to His Will.

Make that Move to get familiar with His Word; do it quickly and then move quickly to where He wants you to be because it looks like a famine is about to hit the land very, very soon. And, not just a famine but war and a day's wages to buy a little food, should you find it.

I'd like to add that there are those of us that cannot speak to our own family about these things but we can fast and pray that God will send some else to them whom they will lend an ear and then do the right thing.
