One could say that Huxley's version was easily effective for the hive minded whereas Orwell's method might be used to "break" the inherently individualistic. Once the latter developed a type of "Stockholm Syndrome" through repeated acts of cruelty, THEN they might become receptive to Huxley's charms via a societal reward of peace through conformity. In other words, they might BOTH be "right."

this is something i have been contemplating lately. even a video like the one i think we all just watched made by truthstream media in the sense that, like the books, they show us an undesirable thing. in this case, a possible dystopian future and how it came (or could come) to be. one of the things it does is to familiarize these things in the minds of the readers/watchers, which perhaps could be the first step in acclimating a mind to an undesirable thing that in the long run leads to its eventual acceptance. sometimes it feels wrong to think this way, but i cannot dismiss it because it is not a wholly ludicrous idea.

MIchael James I totally feel you on this. We have to develop our sense of discernment whilst refusing the ticket. If we take the ticket, in this case, total fear of the unseen hand directing us into mesmerized servitude, we play our part in manifesting this outcome.

Can I do anything to stop the controlling factions of the world from creating these hells? No, and certainly not by jacking up my cortisol with fear porn. All I can do is live as honestly as I can and behave like a human being, not a person, nor an animal lest I be treated as an animal.
