Stven Ben DeNoon digs into the topic of whether Shem is Melchizedek and if so, then Shem would have had to be living in Jerusalem.

The Book of Asher is used by Mark Biltz as a source of this being the case. However: Steven Ben DeNoon does his own digging into the Book of Ahser and finds that it is used in the Talmuc, which is not the Torah of the Hebrews but a book of the oral teaching of the Rabbis. The Rabbis want to, apparently, prove, that their priesthood can be traced all the way back to Abraham. And they say that Shem, the youngest son of Noah, lived in Jerusalem.

So, when Abraham traveled to Mt. Moriah (at Salem) to sacrifice Isaac, they are claiming that Shem was there and both Abraham and Isaac studied under Shem.

Here is the problem. When did Jerusalem become the city occupied by the Hebrews? Was it not under Kind David who bought the Temple Mount upon which, later, the Temple was erected? David is of Jacob who was the son of Isaac., the same Isaac who as a teenager was told by God to Abraham to be sacrificed. This was a picture of a future sacrifice that would take place there: that of Christ/Yahusha.

There is a bit of grasping at straws going on. The Rabbis want to say they are of Abraham. Christ made it clear that some of them were Vipers, sons of the Devil.

This is why, says Steven, Rabbis of today claim that Jewish heritage depends on the mother. Nay, that is not correct. The heritage goes to the lineage of the fathers. The mothers had compromised themselves by having children by those not of their own blood-line..

1. There was no city of Jerusalem at the time that Abraham went to sacrifice Isaac at Mt. Moraiah.
2. The Book of Asher has been compromised by these same Rabbis.
3. The King of Salem that is called Melchizedek was also the priest of the Most High God.
4. It was none other than Chrsit/Yahusha himself who was often seen as The Angel of Yahuah in other parts of the Bible.
