These words were spoken by the man who spent 50 years hearing the same false teaching from others; whether individual pastors or fellow believers. It wasn't' until he spent time alone with the Bible, reading Daniel 9:24-27, that he understood that this was speaking of Christ/Yahusha...NOT THE A/C.

Who is the "He" that is spoken about there?

"The 70th week of Daniel.

I will insert here a paragraph taken from one of the post on Rapturebibleprophecyforum. I have taken the proper measure to apply HIS Hebrew Name rather than Jesus.

The usual theory is that “the clock stopped,” either at the beginning of the 70th week or in the middle of it, and will be resumed at some point in the future. These views become irrelevant, once we see that Yahusha was indeed crucified at the full end of the 490-year period. Christ/Yahusha's baptism in the midst of the week did not stop any time clocks. Furthermore, Daniel 9:27 is not talking about an “antichrist” who will put a stop to modern Temple sacrifices in Jerusalem at some future point. It is talking about what happened at Yahusha’s baptism. Yahusha is the One who put an end to the sacrificial system. And He is the One who confirmed the New Covenant with many during that week from 26-33 A.D.

Then to confirm this fact, we learned that Yahsuha came to open the Gates back to Paradise exactly 5 1/2 days (5500 years) to the day just as was promised. Thus "he led captivity captive". So Christ "led captivity captive" (Ephesians 4:8) in that God "rescued us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins" (Colossians 1:12-14).

When you begin to put the various pieces together correctly, it is obvious that we were fed some evil garbage that, like the dutiful followers of the Dispensation Theory, we swallowed without question, not knowing how badly we were being spiritually poisoned. Who were we to think we understood Rome's teaching better than they taught it. Rome is the author of the Dispensation Theory. Only by the Grace of YHWH, when led by the Spirit of God to do our own reading, we were made to understand the Truth.

None of this would have been possible if the person spoken about in Daniel's prophecy was the A/C....WOULD IT? The He in Daniel's prophecy who confirmed the Covenant made earlier by YHWH with them was YHWH come in the Flesh as Yahsuah.
