In a forum, there is a reply as follows. The speed of passenger car is too small. But if it (The spot-light on the floor moves qualitatively. Because of aberration) is actual, moon's motion may has an effect (on the spot-light) also. The angle of light ray (in the passenger car) may not be 90 degrees.

Moreover, the motion of the solar system may has an effect also. On the other hand, in the air, light ray is 90 degrees with light waves always. Because, reference frame (air) is at a standstill relative to observer.

To make a flat plate level (horizontal) with plane waves may be possible theoretically.

Sorry, i made mistake. Allow me to withdraw this post. In this situation, the angle of light ray (with light waves) is 90 degrees (According to the emission theory).

A prism is pointed at a star just above. When this prism moves to the right (or the left) in the aether (in the outer space), what phenomenon does occur in the prism ? Frequency of the incident lights (enter both faces of the prism) is the same. However, light speed (relative to the faces) is not the same. Therefore, wave length of the incident lights (in the prism) may not be the same.

Very sorry. Now, i feel that conclusion of above post (9 Dec) is not certain. Please allow me to compensate with following.

On the moon's surface, there is a pillar made of glass that lies horizontally. From the upper right and the upper left, plane waves of star light are coming. Wave length/wave number (it's invariant) of two waves is supposed to be the same. Now this pillar moves to the right or the left. Frequency and light speed of the incident light (seen from view point of the inertial frame of the pillar : Before incidence) may change. And in the glass, frequency and wave length/wave number (refraction angle also) may change. These changes show the motion of the glass relative to the aether.

Because of the motion (in the eye direction) of light source, wave length of light is changed (shifted). But if an observer moves in the same motion as light source, how about to the observer ? Frequency became the same to the light source, but wave length may not be changed (by this observer's motion). This may show the motion of the both relative to the medium (when the light source is heavenly body, it's aether).

In the outer space, two mirrors are set at a 45 degree angle (like letter V), and are reflecting star lights down (on the right and on the left, there are two stars).

Above two mirrors move together to the right or the left. By this motion, it's able to equalize the frequency of two reflected lights. And frequency of two incident lights is the same also. Therefore, by the wave length of two incident lights, light speed relative to the aether may be found.

[P.S.] The sum of speed of two incident lights may be below 2c.

Light rays (shower) of a star are coming. Along a straight line (crosses light rays), two observers are moving at different uniform speed. Angle of light rays to observers is different (different inertial frame, different phenomenon).

In outer space, a telescope is pointed at a star. In front of the telescope, a diaphragm is attached (considerably distant ; on extension line of optical axis of the telescope). When this diaphragm is shut to pin-hole, the star will have disappeared. And the difference of disappearance (in shutting) will depend on the position of the star on the celestial sphere. From this, value of secular aberration will be clarified.《P.S.》 Above view is based on rain-drop model. The telescope is supposed to be hollow tube (eye piece is pin-hole).

- Withdrawal and Apology - Above my post (31 Jan) is wrong. Photons will pass through two pin-holes. The same aberration occurs on two telescopes (length is different).

However, i have read that coming direction of plane waves (of certain heavenly body) is possible to know precisely (with interferometers. such as VLBI. less than a millimeters angle. annual aberration is about 20millimeters angle [maximum]). If these apparatus is set on the moon's surface, difference between apparent direction seems to be detected.

Coming direction of light waves (measured with an interferometer [such as VLT, VLBI] set on the moon) will not be changeable by moon's motion (principle of interferometer [illustrated by two telescopes and right triangle] seems to guarantees it). On the other hand, because of aberration, apparent position (of this star) will be changeable. If this difference is true, secular aberration seems to be measurable.
- Correction - Angle of annual aberration is a 20seconds angle. Angle distinguished by VLBI is below a milliseconds angle.

Allow me to rewrite above post, please.

Moon's surface (horizontal) is moving to the left. Light waves of a star are coming from the upper left. There is an interferometer (small-sized VLT) on the moon's surface. When it is leaned, it will be possible to know the true coming direction of light waves (independently of moon's motion). On the other hand, because of aberration, apparent position (of this star) is changeable. If this difference is true, secular aberration seems to be disclosed.

Imagine motion of stars (seen from horizontal coordinate system) caused by earth's rotation. Secular aberration will be detectable (reason ; earth's axis will not overlap with the direction of motion of solar system).-P.S.- In a web-site (in Japanese), i found value 13.4 seconds of arc (it's value of secular aberration). Surprising !!

Above value "13.4 seconds of arc" is shown in a report carried in a journal "Report of the national astronomical observatory of Japan ; Feb 1993". No book seems to touch on this value.

Momentum of a point mass is changed by motion (excepting uniform linear motion) of this point mass. It will show the existence of rest frame.

Two disks are rotating (in outer space ; in non-gravitational field ; horizontally). Rotating speed of one disk is 10 rotations per second and that of the other disk is 20. A body is detached from the edge of disk and is receding along a tangent line (and every tangent line does not rotate relative to space). It will be the same about a photon (emitted from a rotating source).

Why is a pulsar visible as a point (not short line)? It will be caused by aether.
