Free Ipod

I realised that there are skeptics that do not believe that this freeipods offer is for real well here is a better explanation on how to sign up and cancel the required trial offer:

You've probably come to this website wondering, "Free iPod?! How is that possible?" You may have been referred by a friend to come here. Well, just follow the instructions found on this page and it'll be a reality for you, just as it has been for many others. Background information as to how this is possible is located below the instructions.

Instructions:

1. Click on this link http://www.freeiPods.com/default.aspx?referer=8791131 to go to the website so you can create an account.

2. IMPORTANT: Create a new e-mail account at Yahoo!, not Hotmail, because the e-mail you provide may receive junkmail, and Hotmail will block the verification e-mail that you will require later. You must use a real e-mail address, however. Once the site has loaded, locate at the bottom two boxes where you enter your newly created e-mail and a password you have chosen.

3. Enter your address details on the next page. Use real information, but you can change this later after you have completed your offers.

4. Next, you'll receive a series of questions for offers. If you wish, you may read them. Otherwise, just click no through all of them.

5. Once you're in, you should be in the "Complete Offer" link. If not, click on it in the links near the top of the site. Now complete one of the offers. Read below for tips. Use one of the two AOL offers:

TIP: For an easy and risk-free offer, do one of the America Online (AOL) offers for a free trial, usually 45 or 50 days. Upon completion of signing up (a credit card is required, but once you cancel within 45 days, you will not be charged for anything, and AOL is a reliable source), wait a few days and keep checking back on your "Check Status" page. Look for this message:

6. Now it is time for you to refer 5 people to complete the offer. Find 5 people and send them to this webpage to complete their offers. Once they complete their offer, you will receive notification on your "Check Status" page that you have officially referred someone. After this is done, you can tell them to cancel their AOL account easily by calling 1-888-265-8008 and telling them that you wish to cancel.

7. After you have completed that, you will need to confirm your shipping address, select your iPod, and then wait for it to arrive on your doorstep. That's it!

Background:

The company behind this deal is Gratis Internet, and they confirm that this is real. Their reason to do this is that they make a decent amount of profit from people who do not complete their offer with the 5 referrals, but they lose some money from people who do complete it, but in the end they still make profit. Basically, Engadget has looked into this and this isn't one of the eBay scams. It is not like there isn't a catch, we are all doing them a big favor generating all these referrals. Many people from many different forums have successfully completed this offer (look around) and this guy made a webpage about it.

If they end up canceling this, then it'll become an issue. But you have nothing to lose, and a lot to gain. Even if you don't like the iPod (even the new one), sell it on eBay or to your friend and make some cash for something else.
