Bryan Adams told Calgary Sun:
"Maybe it's a good thing Spirit came along. It'll help put me back in the public eye"
The Spirit film's premiere will be at the Cannes Film Festival on May 18.
After Cannes, he will probably organize a promotional tour for his Spirit album.
"The Spirit soundtrack album is my new album. Hopefully, it will be out within three weeks. There are 16 tracks on it."
"Only six of those songs actually appear in the film. The others are songs that never made the cut."
"There are probably five more songs I wrote that didn't even make it onto the album. "
"My favourite song, Brothers Under the Sun, didn't even make it into the film..."
