If we accept the TPLF (Eritrians) us our leaders now, then we will be in the same situation next time. If there is going to be next time at all. It is also accepting once again that to rule the country you don’t have to be voted by the people, but you just need to have the gun to kill innocent people to silence them.
It is like watching a Russian film, how the security forces silence their people. This is a nightmare situation to be in. Accepting everything because people are scared. It is embarrassing to say Ethiopia is the oldest independent country in Africa, when we the people are strangers to freedom.
If anyone thinks Meles is going to give up power for anything, we must be mad. He has already confessed on BBC how they have made a ‘Miss-calculated’ about the election, meaning they have realised that they have given too much power to the opposition. Obviously, it didn’t make a difference as they will find a way to make themselves winners (via their connection in Election board/Head of Fed Supreme Court Mr Bedri).
They already staged a bomb plot in Addis Ababa and then accused two people of being members of the opposition. This is just the beginning. They are going to carry on doing this until there is no opposition left.
Even though we know, AA is under the opposition, but the real power will still be under TPLF.
