Majority citizens of any country do love and do care about the welfare of their country. Ethiopians are not an exception to this phenomenon. By and large, Ethiopians express their love and care for their country in good and in bad times. They have demonstrated time and time again when the country faced environmental as well as man made tribulations. Ethiopians from within and the Diaspora stood against foreign aggressions and helped their people when they were in need of their help.

On the other hand, Ethiopians rejoiced during national victories both in battle field against aggressors and in the peaceful battle i.e. in sports. Whereas majority of Ethiopians share a sense of belongingness, affiliation and affection to their mother land, few others have not been in the same wagon; instead, they were either indifferent or showed just the opposite. As the French saying goes: “Dans toute les societe il ya des bons et des mauvais” meaning in every society, there are the good and the bad. Ethiopians are not an exception in that regard either.

As there are many good, gentle, honorable and heroic Ethiopians who care for their country and wish their country peace, stability and prosperity to the people of their country of origin, there are also those who care less about anything. In fact, there are those who made it their number one priority to oppose simply for the sake of it.

Whereas many Ethiopians preach peace, few others advance violence within their own country of origin. While many Ethiopians advocate and work for development, few others press on confusion, provocation and destruction within their own country.

While many caring Ethiopians talk, write and advertise a language of peace, stability, prosperity, cooperation and development via- their newspapers, web-sites and any available media, few others work very hard on fabricating news and confusing the public at large with propagandas and unfounded innuendoes. They even go as low as campaigning to stop international assistance necessary to the development endeavor of the public at large. One of their main instruments in advancing their sinister activities is the web-site known as the ETHIO-MEDIA.COM.

ETHIO-MEDIA.COM has been a champion of deception, a source of bias, and un-ethical propaganda. It has been a tool of spreading hatred, racism and chauvinism in an unimaginable scale. It has been playing a major role in poisoning innocent Ethiopians from within and the Diaspora with its pathological lies.

It is very clear that Ethiopians have passed through unimaginable scale of conflicts, wars and other man-made and environmental catastrophe during the former brutal military dictatorship. It is also clear that Ethiopians have had enough of difficulties and hardships and they are saying enough is enough; we want to live in peace and harmony. Further, they are saying we want to improve our lives by getting rid of poverty and underdevelopment and most importantly, they are saying we want peace because without peace they say, there is no development.

Ethiopians know very well that their ancient ancestors lived in peace with each other despite their linguistic, religious or any other differences; therefore they want exactly the same for them and their children. They also want to share the benefits this country has to offer equally and not be discriminated against because of their race, religion and any other backgrounds. Most of all, they do not want to go back to the NEFTEGNA DOMINATION AND CHAUVINISM. They are sick and tired of Neftegna mentality because such mentality is obsolete, outdated and buried.

On the other hand, Ethiopians particularly those from within are currently busy doing constructive activities in order to change not only the image of the country but also to transform their country for the better. They are fighting poverty, disease and underdevelopment. They are determined that they can and will bring economic development and prosperity to their country.

On the other hand, however, few bad seeds such as the ETHIO-MEDIA.COM (a sole agent of fabrication, provocation, destruction and violence) which are funded by the Red Terror architect and the likes are doing exactly the opposite. Ethio-Media is poisoning innocent Ethiopians from within and the Diaspora with its fabricated innuendos and unfounded propaganda almost on a daily basis. It is a racist web site because it is advocating hate and racism in order to create division and violence amongst people of the same nation.

Instead of adhering to the fundamental principles of journalism which is to spread unbiased and balanced news, this tabloid website has concentrated upon a one sided propaganda. In a sense, it is crying on behalf of the Neftegnas. Therefore, it better call itself ETHIO-NEFTEGNA.COM instead of ETHIO-MEDIA COM. That name will fit rather well with the activities of Ethio-Media.

Ethio-Media must comprehend that the Ethiopia of today is one that people live together equally and in harmony sharing the benefits equally. It is a country that human beings are respected not because they belong to such and such ethnic groups, races, religion denominations etc. but simply because they are all Ethiopians. It must know that people in a present Ethiopia are masters of their destiny. They have all the right to live and lead their lives anyway they want. They have the right to govern themselves and use their own native languages not only for communication, but also for administrative and educational matters and not imposed upon them by some Neftegna from somewhere.

By the way, it must be clear that the word Neftegna has nothing to do with the majority people of Amhara or the Amharic language; it simply reflects that obsolete chauvinist so called upper class Neftegnas who have exploited the Ethiopian people for many years and those who want to advance the same system. Therefore, if Ethio-Media wants to be the real Ethio-Media, it must first learn the basic rules of journalism. It must learn to verify its news before it posts them. It must learn to balance and not act as an agent of some remnants of the defeated Dergue or its associates such as those mentioned above. It should also treat all nationalities of Ethiopia equally.

However, if it wants to declare itself as the sole representative of the opposition party such as the CUD, it is free to publicly declare so and have the nerve to openly join the remnants of the archaic Neftegnas. On the other hand however, it is not too late for this tabloid web-site to learn from its tragic mistakes and do the right thing and the right thing is simple and clear. It must start to comprehend that Ethiopia belongs to all nations and nationalities. Chauvinist mentality can never work in Ethiopia anymore and their followers and advocates will never put themselves on the top of the Ethiopian people anymore because Ethiopians have told them enough is enough.

Ethio-Media must stop becoming an architect and advocate of hate and violence and start becoming a source of unity, and an advocate of peace, stability and prosperity. It must contribute its share in advancing proper, balanced and knowledge based information. It has to stop becoming a sole agent of the remnants of the former military regime such as the architect of the Red terror Dr. Negede Gobeze who was responsible for deaths of thousands of innocent Ethiopians and fascist collaborators such as Eng. Hailu Shawel who is trying to create his Neftegna system back to this country.

Ethio-Media must stop planting the seeds of hate, racism, chauvinism, violence and destruction. There is a famous saying that goes like: “you can fool some people some times but you can not fool many people many times”. EthioMedia or Neftegna media may have fooled some people for sometime; however, its time is running-out now and it is running out of gas. It is time therefore that this tabloid Neftegna media stop playing with fire. It is wise to come to senses and reflect something positive for once. It is not too late to focus on something constructive that can do good to the public at large. To start with, Ethio-media can stop confusing the public at large with its tabloid journalism.

Further, it can embark on knowledge based information that may help the public at large. It can benefit the society by posting on its web-site balanced, non-biased and factual information. This can also enhance its’ own reputation and attract more customers. One more advice is if it can not do that, it may be better for Ethio-media to consider the following: Please instead of assisting few remnants of the former military regime such as Eng. Hailu Shawel, Prof. Mesfin Woldemariam and the likes under cover; it is better for you to publicly join them because ETHIO-MEDIA.COM is simply becoming NEFTEGNA.MEDIA.COM.

If Ethiomedia is to be called Ethioneftegna, then I trust me, ENA should also be called Woyane News Agency. It is the truth. ENA only say whatever their employer woyane tells them to say. They are one sided (Woyane sided) 'Yetelegome Feres'. Whenever they see another media, they feel threatened. Don't be. Because let alone Ethiopians, even other nationalities living in Ethiopia know that ENA is the voice of woyane.

Ethiopian has remained a fortress for outside invaders due to the valour, courage, patriotisim and sacrifice of the Neftegna patriot, whom the fascist Zenawi and his cadres want to denigarte.
Zenawi and his caders would not be here today if it were not for the neftegna. The Neftegna has passed on a proud heritage to our country and Ethiopia owes to the Neftegna for her dignity and independence.

Today the proud history of Ethiopia which the Neftegna maintained, is defended by the true sons and daughters of Ethiopia. Thanks to Ethiomedia and others, the Ethiopian people have got a forum to rally support for the mother country, they have a voice, they have the freedom to defend their country from Zenawi the fascist and his cadres.
No cheap propaganda of fascists can divert patriotic Ethiopians from standing for their country when she is attacked, as before, we will be victorious.
