The bare bone contents of the interview were:
1. the purpose of his meeting with the opposition representatives was to "discuss the codes of ethics of the public relations of the opposition", but he "siezed that opportunity to tell the opposition that it abide by the constitution";
2. use of public media is completely at the discretion of the ruling party (EPRDF);
3. no possibility of a coalition government with, especially, UEDF and CUD;
4. not accepting the results of election as issued by the NEBE is unconstitutional and will "be dealth with all constitutional means";
5. no limit to the use of any means available to his government to stop any descent by the followers of the opposition; and
7. the people must stand with his government to stop the opposition from doing any undesirable activities.

The first item is fascinating:
Meles and Bereket (in today's Addis Admas)talk about "public relations" and Dr Beyene and Dr Berhanu call it "using the mass media". Guess who is lynig? M&B! This is a frightening duo!
Both claim the government-owned mass media are doing a fine job. Nothing less insulting can be expected from these people!

Why don't you ask a copy from Tim Clarke before jumping to a conclusion? Why are you so biased. Be aware that the opposition is proposing to work with them and such bias will not help you part of the system. Hatred only dameges those who hate.
