CUD and UEDF should do what the French and the German are doing
The Washington Post (Parade Section) wrote the following
The next election in both [France and Germany] may well lead to the emeregence of new [American] friendlier leaders. In Germany, Angela Merkel, leader of the pro-American Christian Democratic Union, is expected to take over as chancellor. And in France, Nicolas Sarkozy, a staunch allay of America is expected to replace the consistently anti-American President Jacques Chirac."
Friends, in todays world you cannot come to power and sustain power unless you suck up to the Americans. This is the problem with CUD. Meles is doing an excellent job of sucking up.

When I was a student we used to denounce America thinking they were inferior to us.How wrong we were.Of course,it was a set up by the secessionit students from Eritrea.Little did we know the Eritrean students never considered themselves as Ethiopians eventhough they told us they were on scholarsip. We were foolish and still are because we do not seem to know what is good for us and what steps to take to achieve our rights.
The United Nation is nothing.What goes on in the world is what USA wants.We are better off to realise this fact sooner than later and play to their drum.
I would even go further than that...adopt their constitution and government structure,with some modifications.
