Meles Condemns Bomb Attack In Egypt
Addis Ababa, 7/23/2005 (ENA)
Prime Minister Meles Zenawi condemned the crime committed against innocent civilians in Sharm el-Sheikh early Saturday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
In a message sent to Egyptian President Mohammed Hosni Mubarak, Meles said These acts which are aimed indiscriminately at killing innocent civilians and inflicting damages on property, deserve to be condemned by the whole international community in the strongest terms possible, the Ministry said.
Meles said it was with deep indignation that I learnt about the crime committed against innocent civilians in Sharm el-Sheikh.
While expressing Ethiopias solidarity with Muabarak, the government and people Egypt at this difficult time, Meles said Ethiopia would remain confident that these crimes would not in any way affect the determination of the Egyptian people to continue building a stable and prosperous country, which will remain a major asset for peace and cooperation in our area and Africa in general.
