Dear compatriots, it is sad to tell you we are becoming a protest group after the fact than being able to organize to expose the brutal regime that is terrorizing Ethiopia. It is one thing to be for some thing yet another being against another.
I would great if we organize as a group in our locality to do basic research and expose the Melse regime for the world community. The regime hires top notch PR firm to do its dirty laundry with our own money but yet we could not get organize and do what is necessary to counter these low life cadres who are doing their job effectively.
For a starter to organize and take a specif task and we should identify the regime cadres in every city of North America and Europe and expose them by publishing their name, their activity, their holding to the Ethiopians community at large and take legal action if they violated the law, Individual Ethiopian Lawyers or those in legal profession can help in this area.
Second we should investigates those non-profit organization affiliated with the ruling party and supported by the embassy to raise fud and do countless harm to our community while they are benefiting for themselves. The law requires them to make public their funding source and where and how they use the fund. Registration and Disclosure is the law. If they register as a 501c or register as a foreign NGOS specific requirement apply to them.
In the home front there are countless activity the government and its affiliates use to skim money and use foreign assistant for their political ends. For your information here are some of the activities in the name of aid and development. Ethiopian Review along many independent media should inquire who is who among the lord of poverty and how the regime use it to cheat Ethiopians along the donors.
I expect some one intiate to explore the way and methods people can organize in a small group take the many task that can be done beside petetion and protest.
