US,EU report-disproportionate but overwhelmed by the strength of opposition
The US, EU response is disproportionate in that it is curbing the Ethiopian peoples' right of self-determination of their fate. As Meles said, we are fighting for democracy not to please anyone and we on the opposite side of the fence tell them likewise. Even Meles, the prime beggar had said so.
So at a time when the people are insisting that their vote counts and should be counted to the last grain, who are US and EU to show as the way as if we are babies and they could relieve our dreams like our debts.... No step outside our internal affairs.
However, I appreciate their concern for violence as the one who could bring about violence is the one who is armed to its teeth. Thanks for warning Meles about rights and state-sponsored terrorism.
Otherwise, people who seek their rights have never been awarded by no one and they will fight it. Ethiopia is no Tibet - you can't hide it because we are facing a trickle minority and the majority has never ever been subjugated for longer than nature allows.
