Use of force as means of conflicts resolution

It is very dangerous and worrying phenomenon in which TPLF/ EPRDF retaliated opponents using force, as enemies, to resolve conflicts in Ethiopian. However, none violent means is the best alternative way to settle differences and able to work together for public interests.

We can learn a lot from past and present events of EPRDF political activities, it tries to changes or teaches a lesson to Ethiopian people/ opponents to accept defeat and make the best of bad situation using overwhelming force to which the Ethiopian people/ opponents don’t have power to resist. Opponents have been subjected to human right violations: harassing, intimidating, arresting, torturing, killing, etc. A long term conflicts and disputes are complex and deep rooted in nature. Failing to identify the history of the problems and its impact to the current situation could dead lock any options available to come up with relevant solutions.

As a matter of fact, to address the problems and resolve the conflicts in Ethiopia the bonds of social, economic and political system need to hold people, communities and societies in the country together and provide a real opportunities to achieve our interests. It is also essential to give more emphasis on structuring democratic institutionalized infrastructures in the country along with relevant inputs to make a difference and to find out solutions for long last peace, development and people to live in the country in harmony with out fear and using force as a resort for settling differences.
