TESFAYE ADANE GARA, the newly elected member of parliament, and one of the most articulate and potential future leader of the United Ethiopia Democratic Party was gunned down in day light by the woyane fascist police force in Arsi, central Ethiopia, on 12 June 2005.Zenawi is directly responsible for his murder and he will be held accountable for the crime.
It is a huge loss to the Party and to the Ethiopian people as a whole. Ethiopia has lost one of her most cherished sons and it is a sad day for all of us. The darkness of fascism will be defeated by the brightness of hope, justice, democracy and freedom for which Tesfay campaigned and fought till the end of his life. As we mourn the loss of our heroes we also renew our commitment to the cause of the Ethiopian people.

What are you trying to say?? Are you trying to create a division between CUD and UEDF??? Is this your last desperate act of foolishness? Dear truth, if there is one thing that is true about these organizations it is they will not be divided. You can dream but would not be able to see division between these organizations in your TPLF political life. You know why? It is because both 'coalition' (CUD) and 'United' (UEDF) are loosely created democratic fronts created under a very minimum political program. The two major uniting goals are
1. To eradicate the Ethnic based, anti-Ethiopian government of TPLF Meles, and
2. Establishing, in its place, a democratically elected national government that will be governed by rule of law. Eradicating the TPLF government that is feared by the people and replacing it by a democratic government that fears the people.
Until these two goals are met the unity will not crack. You will loose your political life before the loosely established coalition changes its form.
