Re: Teketelin Zarie - Spread the link

I dedicate this song to my fellow Ethiopian brothers and sisters who were butchered by Woyane government.

Yeruwanndan tarik andegemeweme egna
kezeregna bekerr yelemeneme demegna!

Long live mother Ethiopia!
I am crying whlie I am writting this

Re: Teketelin Zarie - Spread the link

Do I hear "temenjawin kema" ? I am confused........ The PM is right when he say ppl were killed when they try to take arms away from police. mmmmmm The song is the similar to those we have heard during menge era "Wedefit belulet" type..........

Re: Teketelin Zarie - Spread the link

" Getawin Liysidesit bilo miracha miracha
Ligezan temegne sishenef betucha"

How real !!!! Very Relevant song !

Re: Teketelin Zarie - Spread the link

A very wonderful song. The message is very touching. It should reach all people, specially Ethiopian Soldiers and police forces.

Re: Teketelin Zarie - Spread the link

Tola, Can u please tell us the way how this song can reach the Soldiers?

City: Addis

Re: Teketelin Zarie - Spread the link

Hailu,

"... Yegifegnan gulbet Temenjawin Kema ..." means take away the weapons that they use to kill innocent people (so that they don't kill people). The force of a legitimate democratic government is the people - Not guns. Obviously, Woyane is not democratic. Woyane is "Gifegna" and its power is "Temenja." The force of united people is way supirior to the Woyane's "Temenja."

I hope you get it now.

Re: Teketelin Zarie - Spread the link

I love this song. I keep listening and listening to the song and couldn't get enough. Solomon is a heroe! almost all his song are about our country.

Re: Teketelin Zarie - Spread the link

Mamule:

I know it is very hard. Hopefully, someone in Ethiopia will download it and put it on a tape or CD and get it out there through connections. Considering the fact that there is no access to Media in Ethiopia and access to the internet is very limited, this seems to be the only hope.
