Do you remember The multinational coffee corporation, Nestle, demand $6m (£3.7m) payment from Ethiopia.The money is compensation for an Ethiopian business which the previous military government nationalized in 1975.. The cash-strapped Ethiopian government has offered to pay $1.5m to settle the claim, but yesterday Nestle, which bought the firm's German parent company in 1986, was standing by its demand, insisting it was a "matter of principle".
"In the interest of continued flows of foreign direct investment which is critical for developing countries, it is highly desirable that conflicts are resolved according to international law and in a spirit of fairness," a spokesman for the company said.
Finally Ethiopia brought in her secret weapon Protest and cry for boycotting Nestle… then Nestle give-up… and Ethiopian win and even she didn’t have to pay 1.5 million… The insult worked this time around
Do you remember The DC ETHIOPIAN complained that an American movie starring Angelina Jolie film Beyond Borders gives a biased portrayal of its country? The Hollywood company is planning to take 200 Ethiopian farmers to Namibia to appear in Beyond Borders…
Then The Dc Ethiopian start their protest, Hollywood dump the 200 Ethiopian farmers but the film still completed without those unlucky 200 Ethiopians. This around thus the insult did not work the only loser were the 200 Ethiopian farmers… God only know might one film start would have been born out of the film beyond Borders
Now we are insulting The Sheki…
Then we are wondering why multinational corporation not investing in our beloved country?

Just remind me something about Mengistu Hailemariam had said, TEFTRO AND YE AMERICAN imperialism BEKUTETER ENASEGABLEN. Ethiopia will not gone to be fruitful! while racism is next door. no matter the straggle will go on and on, we all seen it.

Ofcourse we have to give tax examption for 5 years to foreign investers as long as they cover 60% of our national budget.yes we give land for free and that is why Musoveni is jealous of us. What can I do? they are idle any way and I got thumb up from Blair.
