We don't like the color of your Eyes & Leave

We don't like the color of your Eyes and Leave

Written by Sources:Addis Ababa

Ethiopians are telling Tigres: We don't like the color of your Eyes & Leave.

As we all recall the riot is now on its third day. All most all Tigrian owned businesses in Addis Ababa remained close frightened from looting, since few of them were burnt and looted.

Early down Addis Ababa seem like a battlefield, flooded with convoy of trucks, and in some areas, such as the Radio and TV station along with Tanks. It appears the citizens of Addis Ababa including the homeless were geared up to face the consequence than continuing to leave in the street. Homeless were chanting early down around 5:00 in Merkato saying, "We were not homeless 15 years ago" "Weyane leave my country We do not like the color of your eyes" same phrases PM Melese Zenawi use to loot and deport Eritreans from Ethiopia.

From the outset police knew Today wasn’ t going to be a normal day and started intimidating every one they see walk in more than one. Out of nowhere hundreds of people came and joined the riot from different corners; later on in thousands.Taxi drivers started honking swearing at police saying, "this is not Badme" Were is democracy " "this is the End " etc .

Civil unrest continues in every angle of the city in Addis Ababa and others. There was also a report of a similar situation in Nazreth, Diredawa, Gondar but not elevated as Addis Ababa. Most businesses owned by the natives (Amhara/oromo) remained open except businesses owned by Tgrain. As the demonstrators walk through native citizens businesses frontage they were waved with the old Ethiopian flags and also given thumbs-up, however, most gold shops owned by Tgrian businessmen were closed and some widows were seen smashed. Senior officials of the opposition parties joined the uprising today when they learnt the killing of innocents.

All afternoon, TPLF soldiers were searching house-to-house looking to arrest the opposition leaders, nonetheless, angry Ethiopians seem they do not need leaders to put an end to the TPLF regime. Two TPLF soldiers were beaten to death right on the street of Merkato and intentionally overrun by vehicles to make sure the soldiers are dead. It was a quite scene that no one wants to see. In the next 24 hours, unless something dramatic happen there are rumors to a certain extent CUD and UEDF will show their cohesive resistance against any army and policemen . All afternoon leaflets were distributed and a call was made to all men and women in the army to lay down their arms and join the people or will face the consequence. The next 24 hours will be crucial, government employee who opposes the regime may join the uprising; and also there is rumor that the oppositions may not be limited to peacefully mutiny.

Shut-up! We have lived together with them. The EPDRF is trying every single thing to complete is theory of Interhamoye. Please instead of spreading this message tell them to open their mind. Colaborate with the oppositions and work together. They will leave without problem. The game is over. Look for other method instead of ethnicity.

Mitu, shut up you bi....! are from mekele/Adowa?

Re: We don't like the color of your Eyes & Leave

Ashenafi, you can say all you want. If what meles said is God's word for you, it is not for us Ethiopians. As to the Tigrayans going back to mekele, com'n and make us. Talk is cheap, you see. Tigrayans are very comfortable where we are, where we have always been, living in harmony with our Ethiopia brethren.
Trying to take advantage of this little hickup we got going, you people, those who want to see an Ethiopian Rwanda will do or say anything. But remember one thing. Ethiopians are very dignified and faithful people. If that was not the case, the mission initiated my Meles long time ago, would have been complete, and today, you would have been one happy man. God Bless Ethiopia and her Wise Poeple!
