Lecho Letta -- -- Merara Gudina is Taking Power

ER should republish the discussion between Lecho Letta and Merara Gudina. Professor Gudina gave Mr. Letta a good spanking in pubic. Let him do it again.

Re: Lecho Letta -- -- Merara Gudina is Taking Power

Please dont compare Apple and Banana. Dr. Merara is a seasoned and savvy Ethiopian politician besides his scholastic contribution to Ethiopian young minds. On the other hand, Lecho has been at every door front where he thinks a handout is available. In fact, he has yet to discover his citizenship. The contrast is so stark and there is no need to compare the two.

Re: Lecho Letta -- -- Merara Gudina is Taking Power

Please do not forget that Ato Lencho Letta is a respected politician who functions at the pulse of a remot control ticked and tacked by Ato Isayas Afeworki's deputy minister of information. Ture he was once controlled by Ato Isayas himself, but this is no reason to disrespect him.

Let it also be remembered that Ato Lencho is a sessoned politician that has been humiliated at the hands of EPLF and TPLF in two war fronts. You should not focus on the fact that he lost. We all need to remember he fought with amazing galantry for upto 90 minutes.

You must also keep in mind that Ato Lencho is respected outside of the Ethiopian proper. He is a holder of an honorary medal carrying the name and picture of Ato Isayas Afeworki, for his brave fighting courage in the war against EPLF and TPLF.

So, please do not undermine Ato Lencho. He even has an office in the outscirts of Asmara. Sure his office was across the Eritrean palace sometime ago. He has since been moved to a smaller office outside of Asmara. Sure he may have lost the car and posh office he once had in Asmara. But that is no reason to disrespect him.

Tulu is on the mark. I should show a little respect to the "90 minutes" brave "fighter". Ato. Lencho would be any where and every where if the price is right. Well said Tulu!
