The barbaric action of Meles Zenawi on unarmed and peaceful students and civilians in Ethiopia has left many dead, wounded or imprisoned.
Ethiopians and friends of Ethiopia in the New York/Tri-State area must show their outrage about the carnage and demonstrate their solidarity with our people!

• On the historic day of May 15, 2005, over 90% of the 25 million registered Ethiopian voters turned out to exercise their inalienable rights to elect the government of their choice.
• Stunned by the overwhelming support displayed to the opposition, the ruling party claimed victory before the votes were counted and declared a state of emergency to stifle the people from protesting against rampant election frauds and vote rigging.
• During a three-day campaign of terror (June 6 th - 8th, 2005) Meles Zenawi unleashed his bloodthirsty forces against peacefully demonstrating university students, and brutally massacred scores, savagely wounded hundreds, and arrested thousands of protesters.
• The tyrannical regime of Meles has continued its vicious harassment and persecution of innocent civilians, and has put under house arrest several of the prominent leaders of the opposition.
