murdering citizens and mass detention;"indication for maturity of our democracy;"MELESE ZENAWI i

On the interview that prime minster Meles Zenawi gave to Reuter on friday, he shamelessly and arrogantly uttered the murdering of more than 30 civilians in Addis and detaintion of more than 3000 people from the capital and around the country in torture chambers as "indication that our democracy is maturing."

According to the Prime minister, despite the mounting mobilisation of international opinion and condemination against his unpopular brutal government regarding its massive humanright violation and barbarian act, he and his party are commited to maintaining the harrasment with out restraint.

After the call he received from U.N. Secretary-General Kofi Annan, Britain's Development Minister Hilary Benn, U.S. Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice, and other prominant human right groups and civic activists both at home and abroad,Meles said

"Their advice has been that we should be restrained, as far as the circumstances allow us...And I believe there is no turning back."

While Ethiopia and its more than 70 million citizens are mourning its deads, hussels in helping it hundreds of wounds for recovery, thousands of loved ones being locked in unidentified torture chambers, a father being separated from his family, a mother being pulled back and forced to stand and watch her son and doughters being savagely beaten by an army of terror, Meles insisted that his push for greater democracy remained on track.

On the interview he also confirmed; the arrests of hundreds of oppostion members,leaders and symphetizers ,a severe restriction of their movement both in the country and from traveling abroad,a constant security surveillance threating their personal safety and intimidation (warning) for detaintion without any question or legal prosedur.

He also arrogantly defied and slumed all international pressure and call for curbing his dictatoral and non democratic practices by saying ;

"If that's intimidation, so be it."

In the mean time, there is a strong call from Ethiopians all over the globe and foreign civic and human right activists for expulsion of Prime Minister melse Zenawi from the African Comission, lead by Prime minister Tony Blair, and launched under the aouspition of assessing the crisis in Africa and developing policies to help the impoverished continent.

For the critics it is inappropriate for Prime Minister Meles Zenawi to remain on the commission, which promotes democratic values and human rights in Africa. Since the prime minister is completely at odds with these principles, many instead wish to see a promonant Ethiopian proffesionals to be a part of the team.

All ethiopians should join this call and step up the pressure telling to the world that The African Comission with Melse being a part of it has NO MORAL AUTHORITY to pursue and realise its gole.

This has proven that Mr Zenawi is left out his brain. He is not human being. Head without brain.
