The situation in Ethiopia has reached a point of no return. EPRDF is wounded. Its invincibility has been shattered. The Opposition is doing a fine job. Please let them continue to do their job. We need to provide them support, not direction. They know the reality on the ground in Ethiopia. They know when to stand firm and when to negotiate. The stakes are high both in terms of lives and limbs and the very stability of ethiopia is on the balance. Ethiopia is at a cross road. We need cooler heads to prevail. So please let us be very careful about our messages. In this sense the message on the ER front page that suggests any negotiation with EPRDF is betrayal of the movement is not right.
