OPPOSTION COALETION;CUD AND UEDP ON THE LEAD AFTER COURT RULLING

THE OPPOSTION COALLETION;CUD AND UEDP ON THE LEAD ON PROVESTIONAL RESULTS AFTER COURT RULLING

Following the recent court rulling against the NEBE to withdraw back its provetional results the opposition parties are assuming its lead on the May 15,2005 election in Ethiopia.
Ethiopians must campaign and demand with all available meanse that the NEBE should make public denouncing of its own previous "provetional" announcement of results as improper, illegal and fails to fully represent the electoral picture in accordance with the recent verdict by the high court. For the decision of the court to reflect the rule of law and for the oppositions to claim victory, no ethiopian should rest till the courts order is put in practice by NEBE. Every one has to step up its pressure till the NEBE issued a statment on its official web site and on a public media that all its provestional resualts that it previously announced are illegal, incorrect and dont reflect the peoples choice. We have to also call on the opposition parties not to participate or sign any agreement with the NEBE till the NEBE demonstrated itself as non partesian(independent body,)for conducting, in an impartial manner, free and fair elections in Federal and State constituencies to ensure a democratic system in the country. The NEBE thus should fully submit itself to the rulling of the court and consent to the rule of law.Such obedience from the NEBE will put the opposition coallestion on the lead following thw 15 May 2005 election. And the apeal by the NEBE and TPLF is to avoid this fact comes to light.Once again we ethiopians should hold hands for the rule of law to prevail.
We shall sustain the struggle to the finish!!!

Re: OPPOSTION COALETION;CUD AND UEDP ON THE LEAD AFTER COURT RULLING

Thank you man! This is a new Era for Ethiopia. I ask the opposition parties and their supporters to keep their cool, stand firm, but be civil in our discourse and respect the democratic principles and the rule of law. We need to show the world that this is a democratic force that is wipping out the butchers of Addis. We should rise above the frey and earn the respec tof the world community. That is what distinguishes us from the butchers of Addis.
