The BBC world in particular and the west medias in general are keen to crowning the continents dictators as progressive leaders despite all deep recentments and bitter distrust from their own people.The medias neither have any substantioal criteria nor have ever reaserched information befor coroneting these dictaters and brutual leaders as democratic leaders.Among others world wide in our own continent names like Moi, Mugabe, Mubarek, Mabutu and now our own Meles has been once or more times on their(BBCS AND cnns )holy list of progresive leaders.Any yet at times with an amazing and shameful twist the medias (BBC ,CNN and the like)launch a terror of information con****ing their self elected progressive leaders as dictators over night as if they grow a devil horn.
On the rear opportunities that the people of the continent however got to demonstrate their will and choice over a leader of their choice, they have spoken with no ambiguity that the BBCs scale is not their scale.BBCs croronetion is not their holy coronation.And evidently those leaders that BBC has campaigned for as a progressive leaders has fallen with disgrace one after the other(a good example Moi,Maputo and soon to see Mubarek and Meles).
Coming to our own "gud" Meles Zenawiy the later ethiopias ethnic apartide leader; who deliberately divide the country in to language lines and encite a civil war in the Oromya, Ogaden, Ethiopian somalia, Gambela region and others leaving a dangerious and volatile statesque to quench his power thiristy ego,a leader who orders on the killings of his own citizens,held them incommunicado, beat them, force them to do harsh exercises, given them no or very little food while illegally arrested and denay them medical treatment, sitting in power for 15 years and doing nothing to change the situations of the millions; millions starving ,rampant unemployment,poor medical support,uncontroled expansion of dissese(Hiv) ,monopoly by his party on the brodcast media(after 15 years of his dictatorship the country still haves only two radios one his partys and the other his partys again and one tv); he is still reported as by BBC as a progressive leader.
We ethiopians joining hand in hand with the rest of Africa condamens this melacious role of BBCs,CNNs and other western medias presentation of dictaters that keep serving foreign leaders interests, froeign medias and foreign peoples as progressive leaders.As of today all ethiopians and africans should engage in calling for BBC, CNN and other western medias to refrain calling the peoples enemy as democratic leaders.
