Invitation to Comment - Shortages & Secondary Distributors
To all Pharmacy Buyers:
There has been much discussion on Shortages of late. Those that attended our Conference in August got an earful from both sides of the discussion. Since then, there has been an escalation in media coverage, mostly negative. Rebuttals from Secondary Distributors, who have been implicated in the news, have also been passionate, though not covered by the mainstream media.
So please note the new NPPA web page: Shortages & Secondary Distributors in the News, which has the latest news, reports, and articles currently out there on this controversial topic, for you to hear all perspectives, including a statement from NPPA (as published in the October 2011 edition of Pharmacy Purchasing Outlook, NPPA’s publication).
Then, once you’ve read over all on the new web page, NPPA would like to hear from all of you out there on this topic as well, so that you can offer your opinions with us and with your fellow Buyer colleagues.
