Down the strip from the MGM Grand Hotel, across the street from the Bellagio, is the Planet Hollywood Hotel (formerly the Aladdin), home of the largest mall on the strip, the Miracle Mile Shops. Mall walkers are advised to take a look at this place on your off times.

Aside from all the usual - and unusual, shops found in most malls, this one has one of the ABC Store chains (http://www.abcstores.com/about.htm). They're a Hawaii-themed convenience store without the high prices found in normal convenience and hotel gift stores. It's also a place for inexpensive souvenirs and toiletries, in case you need to pick up souvenirs or forgot to pack your toothpaste or hair brush.

So if you want to stock your room with munchies and beverages without blowing your budget, the ABC Store in Vegas is your best bet to stock up in that regard.

There is also a Walgreens Drug Store on the Las Vegas Strip. Approximately 400 feet north of the MGM Grand on the same side of The Strip you will find a free standing Walgreens. They can be a bit pricier than the ABC store for some things, but are a little closer.

If you find yourself on the far north end of The Strip and in need of emergency sundries, The Riviera has multiple ABC Stores inside, but the main one in the lobby is 24 hrs.
