I was just wondering how everyone else deals with recalls on plain IV bags.
In our facility the plain bags come from materials management and are all over the hospital in various places, yet are pharmacy responsibility because they are technically a drug. So every time we get a recall we have to spend a ton of time checking everywhere for the bags.
Does anyone have a better system for tracking/checking recalls on this sort stuff?
