We use a company called RX Auditor. They give me a report that helps me manage my inventory. Upon the many reports they offer, there is a stock out report. This tells me how many times per month a particular med was stocked out. So then I will up the par.
1 - Optimization repoorts. Run them frequently.
2 - Check with Pyxis if they have dynamic Par and Max adjustments (done automatically depending on usage for each ADM).
