We have been making our own product with Sodium Thiosulfate solution and a bleach solution. It works ok but not as well as the surface safe pads. I have talked to the company that made the surface safe product for hospira and the where meeting with hospira to see if they can be release to make the product themselves and market it. They said that they would contact me as soon as it was available. They have all the materials just sitting around and they way to make it so it won’t take long for them to get it rocking and a rolling.

Ok here's the skinny on this. Hospira holds the patent on this product but it is produced by a secondary manufacture. Hospira will not release this to to manufacture. They have all the materials and are willing to make this to pick up after the Hospira has dropped the ball. Here is the original manufactures contact information Safetech at
1-800-456-7077. They will take your name and number and contact you if the ever going to make this commercially again. The only way to get this product back is if we all give our Hopsira people grief until they cave.
