Pharmacy Buyer Credentialing

Does anyone know of any credentialing specifically for Pharmacy Buyers? I am preparing to take the AHA CMRP (Certified Materials Resource Professional) exam. It's a nice credential, but it focuses mainly on materials purchasing. I would be interested if anyone knows of a credential that focuses on the pharmacy supply chain.

Re: Pharmacy Buyer Credentialing

I wanted to add to our conversation that in addition to the University of Florida’s program, Mylan School of Pharmacy is offering a Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Science in Healthcare Supply Chain Management. As I mentioned, people are just beginning to understand the impact of a trained pharmacy purchasing professional.

Not such thing.............yet. I think NPPA has been working in this direction. There is also a CPSM that is again, general and not focused on pharmacy purchasing.
